Matron of Honor
Where do I start? This lady is my "BETSY", yes, that's right...can't remember how she came to be that but it's basically a step above "Besty" lol. 19 years and counting....my ride or die, my "person" and I wouldn't want to do life without her. She is a super woman and truly can do it all. She's my therapist, partner in crime, North Star (you know, to see if I am headed in the right direction), my barometer (not always the best idea because we are very similar when it comes to these things), and my "Meechy". Too many memories to call out but let's just say we have been through it ALL together..."do not pass go". ;)
Best Man
This man hails from the CITY of Chicago, IL. We first met at Southern Illinois University where we became best friends instantly. After Freshman year (2004), Lance and I enjoyed our first college house together as roommates and the rest is history! You can find him representing Samuel Adams products by the bar or indulging everyone with a well told story. Feel free to ask Lance anything about sports, beer (he is a Certified Cicerone), and his passion to adventure around the great outdoors of his current residence Phoenix, Arizona.
Bridesmaid
Dante aka Danto, Dantizzle, pretty much any awesome nickname to match her amazing-ness. She is my travel buddy, BFF, COVID quarantine relief, coach of all coaches, and freaking rockstar. Everyday I'm inspired by your ability to show up, authentically, push past fears and kick ass. Dante is the traveling queen so if you're looking for recommendations, tips/tricks, make sure to buy her a drink at the bar (p.s its an open bar ;)).
Groomsman
Chazzie is my big brother! What can I say, he has been with me my whole life. He has taught me a lot of things in my life and I Iove him so much. We practically look and act like identical twins even though we are 6 years apart. We both share a passion for sports, traveling, and most of all, Oak Island Treasure. He currently resides in the Midwest and frequently takes trips to anywhere but there. You will most likely find my brother indulging in some fine whiskey at our whiskey bar!
Bridesmaid
Sista sista! You'll find this gorgeous woman with perfect hair and makeup ALWAYS! She's the braid queen and taught me all I know! haha When we were growing up she used to braid my hair for school, volleyball, you name it...and don't you dare tear up because they are too tight...trust me on that one. ;) She is someone I have always looked up to and watched thrive and grow no matter what challenges were thrown her way. I tell her all the time I love watching her be a mom raising my niece and nephew and still finding time to have a boss babe career, spend time with family, and all the things. Lucky to have her amongst all these brothers of ours!
Groomsman
Michael Splitt has been in my life since 2009, a year after I joined the Marine Corps. We have been friends ever since. Carlsbad, CA is where we call home. We were roomies together for years in or around Carlsbad, CA for a majority of our Marine Corps careers. Michael has always been there for me in good times and bad and is a man of many talents. You can find Michael on the dance floor with an Old Fashioned in his hand, showing everyone his BEST moves! Michael just moved from California to Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bridesmaid
Caits, Meshy, Wifey, just a few other names for this next incredible woman. Not sure if you've caught on yet, but I surround myself with badass ladies that push me to be a better version of myself. This one goes back to being my chauffeur...I mean, carpool buddy when I was 15 because well, I was too young to drive and she wasn't ;). Our friendship grew from there...to become best friends, always together, side by side from high school rallies, college parties, all night chats, standing beside her at her wedding, to kiddos birthdays. Caits and I can go weeks without talking, pick up the phone and it's like not a day has passed. I'm constantly amazed by her ability to do everything...a strong, successful woman barely scratches the surface. I'm lucky to have you.
Groomsman
Kyle Bowen is most notable as, Brianne's brother. In 2010, Kyle gave me the green light to pursue Brianne, as a true Groomsman should, and that was all I needed. Ever since then, we have been on vacations together, gone bar hopping way too many times, and enjoyed many family holidays. Kyle is going to be kicking it at the bar or the dance floor, fur sure, when it comes to the wedding night. He is a fantastic, single, guy and I'm excited to be a part of his family.
Parents of the Bride
These two will be easy to find...the tiny little lady that looks like Brianne's sister with the buff man who soars over her! (don't let that head get too big Mr. Bowen ;)). Cindy and Dave are our biggest fans and continue to push us to be better versions of ourselves, to listen to each other more, to be thoughtful, slow to react, always hold hands, and love fearlessly. We can't tell you how thankful we are for everything you are and everything you do- there really aren't enough words to describe what you mean to us. We love our endless adventures and stories and can't wait for more memories to create!
Father of the Bride
Often confused for Bruce Willis or Kenny Chesney you'll find this handsome devil near the tequila bar eyeing his favorite, 1942. Brandon helped Brianne learn hard work and drive from the beginning helping her do homework over the phone growing up to helping her prep for her latest interviews... he is the best dad a girl can ask for! Constantly supporting, encouraging, and mentoring both of us. He is here for it all and we are so lucky to have him close!! Not to mention, an incredible grandpa to his fur grand kids...we can't wait to see you with human ones next year (yes, we are manifesting) ;)
Parents of the Groom
From Ohio to Florida, we love to spend time exploring the mangroves and beaches with you! Pat and Bruce have always supported us and wanted the best in our lives. Pat has been waiting a long time for her son to get married and now we are here! She will be wearing a beautiful dress on the wedding day while she takes in every second. You can find Bruce having a drink wearing his tux with his Army medals in full show. Pat and Bruce have shown us so much love through this whole process of getting engaged along with the wedding and we look forward to more in the future. Thank you for the constant support!
Parents of the Groom
You two! We love our facetime dates with you both, our San Diego excursions and adventures (can't wait to be able to do them again), wine touring, and Marine Corp chats. The positive support you both give us is the best. Charlie gives us great level headed advice and Bonnie records it all with the best pictures anyone could ask for. These two currently live in Long Island, NY and it is the best for wine tasting and we cant wait to go back! The love that we have received, and will receive in the future, from Charlie and Bonnie fills us with so much joy and happiness. You will most likely find these two hanging tight at their table enjoying the night side by side. We love the both of you with all of our hearts.
Ring Bearer
Louie, AKA Lou, will be barking the whole time. Please ignore him as best as possible. We love Baker. (insert from me, WE LOVE THEM BOTH is what he meant to type).
Officiant
Likely this wedding wouldn't be happening if it wasn't for this gem of a human so it's only appropriate to make sure she seals the deal. We've known Lara and her husband Dave since day one of "Bree and Bennett". She started as our neighbor, became our lifelong friend, our match maker during the "college gap period ;)", and now our Officiant. This woman knows a good thing when she sees it and always said B and I were made for each other...she knew from the beginning and knew along. Lara is a jokester so get ready for way too many laughs, tons of dancing, and a whole lot of love. We are so freaking lucky to have you by our side on the most special day of our lives!
