If your invite included a "plus one guest" note, then yes! If not, we would prefer just you. Apart from the flower girl/ring bearer, we'd prefer to keep it an adult event.
There will definitely be some fun line dances at our reception, so join us on the floor! There are 4 dances you may or may not know... so if you want to practice, here are some Youtube tutorials! "Copperhead Road" (the easiest one!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LWfnJyZgP0 "God Blessed Texas" (easy) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4QmQuwKtRs "Watermelon Crawl" (easy) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vU_-Q7p70Xg&t=253s "Whiskey Drinkin" (intermediate) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrnuYoW-YKg (no pressure to "drop it"!!!) Have fun dancing!
Cocktail. We wanna see all y'all looking fancy. Bring a jacket/shawl because it's chilly at night! Ladies, this means a cocktail dress or formal dress. But beware of the grass - maybe stilettos aren't a good idea. Gentlemen, we prefer a nice dress shirt and slacks at the least, suit at the most. We still want you to be comfy. If you want to match our wedding colors, choose sunset colors (pinks, burnt orange, yellows) or neutrals!
Unfortunately, Covid is still a thing :(. Many of our guests are vaccinated, but we are not requiring it of our guests. If you're more comfortable standing 6 feet away for the ceremony or wearing a mask, please do what you need. If you plan to come to the ceremony but not stay for dinner, please let us know in advance so we can plan for that. If you have tested positive, been exposed, or have symptoms, please stay home and celebrate from afar. Please reach out to us if you have questions or concerns. Thank you!
