We're so excited to celebrate with you!

It was a match made in heaven (seriously; we're so convinced this was God's doing!) We met on the first day of Freshman orientation at Point Loma Nazarene University. We even have a picture Gavin's mom took during our first meeting! Although Bree instantly wanted to be Gavin's best friend, he thought otherwise. He thought to himself "I don't wanna hang out with her again..."! 🤣 Good thing that didn't last, because everyone saw it coming... Shoutout to the "Hendricks is Lit" fam who knew we were meant to be from the start.

We became fast friends. We had long intellectual and spiritual talks, laughed at Gavin's bad jokes, and enjoyed spending lots of time together. Gavin fell head over heels. He eventually told Bree once he stopped focusing on schoolwork (cuz he was thinking about her!). Unfortunately she was dumb and didn't like him romantically until many months later. She eventually fell in love with his incredible character, the love he shares with everyone, and his sweet, gentle spirit.

Our first date happened the last day of freshman year. We went to Ruby's Diner on the Oceanside pier, to the Flower Fields, and then to Cineopolis to see Captain America: Civil War. It was very "us"!

Gavin is currently studying to be a dentist at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Bree is a professional wedding photographer in San Diego. Our go-to date is going to a fun brewery and watching the sunset. We are homebodies, love playing video games while drinking any kind of fancy whiskey we can find. We love anything adventurous -- rollercoasters, traveling, and camping.

Gavin proposed on Bree's 23rd birthday! He did it on the beach during a photo shoot with a photographer. She cried buckets.

Because we love nature and being surrounded by everyone we love, we are having our wedding in San Diego at a green, fairytale venue. Expect tacos, brownies, a lot of tears from Bree, and line dancing!
