How did your family come to have this cabin?
Answer
Geralds grandfather (Wally) built it. He bought the property around 1980 and slowly built it up using his Seattle firefighter pension and WW2 army pension. The basement wasn't fully completed until the mid-2000's.

What's the dress code?
Answer
Casual wear whatever feels comfortable especially since late July can be extremely hot. Heels are not recommended for the ceremony as it will be on the rocky beach.

No, this is a family vacation home.

Where can I grab groceries nearby?
Answer
There is a tiny store in Allyn itself (8 minutes away) but if you need more than the bare essentials you'll have to head to QFC or Safeway in Belfair (15 minutes away).

No it all connects by road or bridge.

How long is the islands main road?
Answer
It's 1.5 miles around the island.

No, deer live there that's about the spookiest thing you'll see.

Is there a Jaws in the water? Will I die if I get wet and salty?

No Jaws isn't real, and despite Breanne's lack of enthusiasm for salt water it's perfectly safe. We do have seals and occasionally an orca or two but that's about it.
