The second day of Theology class Freshman year of college, Phillip came and sat down next to me. That is when we first saw each other. Throughout the semester, our professor would have us discuss our reading homework with our neighbor. The first time I turned to ask what he thought of our homework, he admitted he had not done it. The conversations that started in class soon led to us continuing the conversations while walking to lunch together. After a while of walking to lunch together, he invited me to sit at his table with all of his friends since I had been eating alone. By the end of the semester, we were talking in class, on the way to lunch and eating lunch together every other day. That soon grew into seeing each other to play ping-pong in the evenings. By February of the next year, we admitted that we liked being in each other's company and he asked me to be his girlfriend.
