We’re getting married!

Keegan worked some proposal magic by fooling me into a “surprise birthday weekend” a few weeks before my birthday! We drove for a few hours before I figured out we were heading to one of our favorite places, Fredericksburg, where Kee booked us a private cabin! Saturday morning he got dressed up (I should’ve known haha) and took me to tour some wineries! We were having a great time and out of nowhere, a photographer “taking pictures for the winery”, asked if we would like to take a picture! Of course we said yes! She positioned us in the lavender field, took the first picture, and as I was walking towards her to see it, she tells me to take another one, so I turned around to walk back and THERE HE WAS. My bestfriend, down on one knee, asking to marry me!! It was then that I realized the “winery photographer” was a very sweet & pretty slick gal, who Keegan hired!! She played it off so well, complete surprise for me! We wrapped it up by taking some more pictures to memorialize the best day ever! It was absolutely perfect, my fiancé (hehe) knocked it out of the park!

Living a few miles from each other throughout junior high, Keegan was just another one of my brothers friends. I didn’t see him much before I left for another town in 8th grade. Nine years pass, we both graduated and started our careers, BUT as fate would have it, those careers landed us in the same town at the perfect time. Keegans mom came into my salon one day, I did not recognize her, but she started talking about living in my hometown and ended up telling me that Kee and I would hit it off! We went on our first dinner date, watched a few movies, became best friends instantly and now we get to cherish our love forever!
