August 15th, 2022.
Amazon, Target, and Zola, but feel free to shop elsewhere if you see the items we are looking for. If you buy something from our registry at a different location, please let us know so we can take it off our registry. We also would greatly appreciate cash and gift cards! Favorite gift cards are featured on Amazon, and cash funds are mentioned on Zola.
Seating for our guests will be available starting at 12:30.
We are requesting semi-formal attire. In addition, due to the uncertain weather conditions of an outdoor ceremony, we advise you to bring a jacket and/or sweater.
Your invitation will indicate whether we anticipate you bringing a guest. Please check how your invitation was addressed to determine who we are planning for.
Yes! We love kids, and seeing them all dressed up is so precious! We will have snacks, games, and other activities available for them to enjoy. However, if parents want a night off and choose to leave the kids at home, we totally understand that. Please indicate when you RSVP how many are planning to attend.
If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know as early as possible so we can consider what accommodations we are able to make. We will have a buffet-style meal where we will make the effort to provide sides to accommodate everyone. If you are unsure of the options we will have provided, you are also welcome to bring your own food for dinner.
Yes. Guided parking assistance will also be available prior to the ceremony.
No. The ceremony and reception will be at the same location. If you know someone else attending our wedding, you can try to arrange a carpool if you do not wish to drive.
The bride and groom will take the time between the ceremony and reception to take photos with the wedding party and immediate family. During that time, guests are welcome to stay at the venue and play yard games or table games. There are also a few things to do in the surrounding area (see Things to Do). If guests choose to stay on-site the entire time, we would suggest bringing a snack for the afternoon, especially those with kids. We will have refreshments available starting at 4:45, and dinner will be served at 6:00.
We will have an unplugged ceremony, which means guests will be asked to keep their phones out of sight until after the ceremony. We have two professional photographers taking pictures for the whole event, and as the ceremony is the most special part of the day, we would like you to just enjoy the moment with us in a technology-free capacity. We appreciate everyone's understanding regarding this.
We tried to plan this event far enough out that hopefully the worst of COVID is behind us. With that being said, the choice to wear a mask is up to you. We are planning for an outdoor ceremony, and there will be lots of space outside and in the lower level of the barn for those that feel the need to take a break from any areas that may feel too crowded. We tried to take as many considerations as possible when planning for this event to make as many people comfortable, but if you do not feel comfortable about attending, we completely understand.
Yes! The ceremony will be at ground level, and there is a wheelchair ramp to access our reception area.
