Pensacola Lighthouse and Museum
This is where Jake surprised Laurena with tickets to watch a Blue Angels practice from the very top! Besides holding a special place in our hearts with a wonderful memory, it's a great place to take in a beautiful view of the Gulf Coast from above.
Naval Aviation Museum
First dates rarely go as planned and this is where theirs was supposed to be! Due to an unforeseen appearance of the President in Pensacola, we had to alter plans slightly. However, the bride and groom have made countless visits to this museum and have cultivated a shared passion for aviation here.
Pensacola Beach
Pensacola Beach is a favorite spot of the bride and groom. There is so much to explore, including shops, walking on the pier for a small fee, and many restaurants to choose from. There is never a dull moment while visiting the beach and the sunsets are gorgeous!
Palafox Market on N. Palafox St - between Wright St & Garden St.
The bride and groom love going to the Palafox Market on Saturday mornings. With a variety of talented local artist and vendors, the Market is a great place to spend a Saturday morning and support local artists!
Old Hickory Whiskey Bar
Old Hickory Whiskey Bar is where Laurena first introduced Jake to her passion for exploring the best places in Downtown Pensacola. Sipping on a drink inspired by Ron Swanson, these two talked their way through first date jitters and realized they had quite a bit in common.
McGuire's Irish Pub
A staple restaurant near downtown Pensacola where the bride and groom have shared many meals and celebrations with friends. With a wonderful, friendly, and truly Irish atmosphere (including music!), McGuire's is a must visit! Also, don't forget to kiss the moose!
Bagelheads
A delicious place to have a quick breakfast, Bagelheads serves all kind of sandwiches on a plethora of bagels. The bride and groom have had many breakfast meals here before starting on their grand adventures. It’s a great place to grab a bite to eat on the way to the beach!
The Ruby Slipper Cafe
This restaurant with a New Orleans flair is located right next door to the wedding venue. If you’re looking for the perfect brunch spot, this is it. The bride and groom have shared countless cups of coffee here and sampled just about every one of the eggs benedict variations on the menu!
Native Cafe
Located on Pensacola Beach, the Native Cafe is a Molpus family favorite. With a simple menu, it is a great stop for breakfast before you start your day at the beach.
Joe Patti's Seafood
Joe Patti's is a staple of downtown Pensacola. Located on the water, the groom introduced the bride to Joe Patti's early on as it is one of Jake's favorite spots in town. Laurena and Jake love coming here buying the freshest seafood and enjoying the atmosphere. Inside, there is not only many different kinds of seafood, but a little market with fresh bread and attire, a wine room, and an amazing sushi bar. Joe Patti's is a must whether you visit or live in Pensacola!
