We're Getting Married!

It all started with a simple “How are you?” from Braxton—on not just one, but two different apps. Yep, he was determined! Braxton and Ally had known of each other since 2018, just as casual friends. But here’s a fun fact: Ally had actually been following Braxton on TikTok since 2016. Talk about a long game, right? On May 4th, 2023, Braxton finally shot his shot—and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. Ever heard of the “We Meet People Twice” theory? Sometimes the universe gives you a second chance, and this one came with sparks. Once they reconnected, everything just clicked. In those early dating days, they were making the weekend drive back and forth - Braxton from Bellaire and Ally living in Huber Heights - just to spend time together. Their families joked that they basically lived on the road on the weekends, but those long drives were worth every single mile. Between the shared playlists for each other, the late-night FaceTimes, and the countdowns to the next weekend, their connection only grew stronger. Eventually, the distance got old, and they made the move to build a life together in one place. Now their days are filled with coffee dates, sushi nights, evening walks, movie nights, and lazy Sundays with their dog, Winnipeg. They love going to concerts together and making spur-of-the-moment plans that turn into some of their favorite memories. Whether it’s a random road trip, a last-minute dinner spot, or dancing in the kitchen just because - they’re always up for the adventure, as long as they’re together. On April 14, 2024, outside their first apartment together, Braxton got down on one knee and asked Ally the easiest question ever - and of course, she said yes!
