This gem of a place in Port Colborne has some of the best Thai food we've tried outside of Thailand! It's a true Mom & Pop shop with incredibly kind owners and generous portions. Their Pad Thai is saucy, savoury, and oh-so-satisfactory. Grab some takeout or enjoy on the patio with a cold beer.
Looking for a coffee, pastry, or heartier bite to eat? This local cafe is a delicious and cozy community hotspot tucked into the town of Ridgeville. I especially appreciate their dedication to showcasing and selling handmade goods from local artisans within their storefront.
Their patio and dining room are perfectly situated on the waterfront, with views across Lake Ontario to the Toronto skyline. Known for their key lime pie, it's great spot for lunch or dinner. Reservations recommended...they get busier than you'd think!
This little pizza joint in Grimsby does justice to both old favourites (Deluxe Pizza) and new creations (Shawarma Pizza). Make sure you get some of their garlic dipping sauce as an accompaniment!
The Vineland location of The Watering Can (who happen to be our wedding florist!) is truly like nothing you've seen before. You don't have to have a green thumb to be blown away by their massive selection of plants and creative displays. Wander through their giant store and and admire succulent-encrusted pianos, lush vines spilling out of suspended canoes, and a rainbow of air plants adorning a 1960's VW van. They also have a Pastry Market and Cafe in case you need a pick-me-up. Highly recommend stopping in!
This conservation area along the Niagara Escarpment features preserved buildings from a 19th century industrial hamlet, plunging waterfalls, and access to the Bruce Trail. P.S. We had our engagement photos taken here!
