When is the wedding? Cuándo es la boda?

Answer

The ceremony is on August 3, 2019 in Roatan, Honduras. The ceremony will be at 5:00pm with a reception following immediately. La ceremonia es el 3 de agosto de 2019 en Roatán, Honduras. La ceremonia será a las 5:00 pm con una recepción inmediatamente después.

Where is the wedding? Dónde es la boda?

Answer

The wedding and reception will be held at Paradise Beach. This is also where Andrea and Brady intend to stay as well as the majority of the guests. Where is Roatan?

Answer

Roatan is a small island off the coast of Honduras in the Carribean who's economy thrives off of tourism. While we would caution guests to use common knowledge when navigating the island (not wondering off alone, not taking drinks from strangers, not over indulging in drinks outside of the hotel), the island truly is a safe and enjoyable piece of tropical paradise.

When should we arrive and depart? ¿Cuándo debemos llegar y partir ?

Answer

The short answer is: Whenever you want! Andrea and Brady will arrive on Wednesday July 31, 2019, 3 days prior to the ceremony. We will be there until the following Friday August 9, 2019. You are welcome to stay as long or as short as you want, ¡Cuando quieras!  Andrea y Brady llegarán el miércoles 31 de Julio de 2019, 3 días antes de la ceremonia. Estaremos allí hasta el siguiente viernes 9 de agosto de 2019. Le invitamos a que se quede todo el tiempo que desee.

Booking the Hotel. Reserva de Habitaciones

Answer

We have worked with the hotel to secure a discounted rate for the wedding guests, totaling $113USD per person per night. This is an all-inclusive rate, which includes food (3 meals a day) and all drinks, including alcohol. In order to book you room at the hotel, please visit the “Travel” tab. You will find a contact with the hotel to help you through the process. Please reference on your form that you are with the Torres/Gannon August 3, 2019 wedding. Andrea y Brady han trabajado con el hotel para asegurar una tarifa con descuento para los invitados a la boda. El hotel ha ofrecido habitaciones por $ 113 USD por persona por noche. Esta es una tarifa con todo incluido, que incluye alimentos (3 comidas al día) aperitivos y las bebidas, incluido el alcohol. Selecting your hotel room.

Answer

As a part of the discount Andrea and Brady will work with guests to fill some of the larger villas the hotel has to offer. The following link shows the room types that the hotel has to offer (https://www.paradisehotels.com/suites). The villas and suites have private rooms with shared restrooms, living rooms and kitchens. Andrea and Brady will work with guests to find compatible villas and suites as the date gets closer. However, if you wish to have your own room that is fine as well, please let us know..

Is the hotel all-inclusive? El hotel es TODO INCLUIDO?

Answer

Yes! The hotel will have all-inclusive food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as light snacks between meals. Drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are covered, as well, and are served at all of the bars. Drinks may be included, but the bartenders still appreciate tips! ¡Sí! El hotel tendrá alimentos todo incluido para el desayuno, el almuerzo y la cena, así como aperitivos entre las comidas. Las bebidas alcohólicas y no alcohólicas también están cubiertas, y se sirven en todos los bares.

What is the transportation like from the airport to the hotel, and back. / Transporte desde el aeropuerto-ferry al hotel

Answer

Transportation is very simple. The island thrives on tourism and it is easy to find your way around. Transportation is included in the hotel charge, and those staying at Paradise Beach with us will not be charged transportation. Andrea and Brady will coordinate transportation for arriving flights, as the date gets closer, to insure an easy transition from the airpot to the hotel. El transporte está incluido en el cargo del hotel, y los que se hospeden en Paradise Beach con nosotros no tendrán que pagar el transporte. Andrea y Brady coordinarán el transporte para los vuelos/ferry que llegan, a medida que se acerque la fecha, para asegurar una transición fácil desde el aeropuerto hasta el hotel.

What to bring? ¿Qué debes traer contigo?

Answer

Plan for a beach vacation! The island offers stores to buy items you may forget, but they are much more expensive than if you bring it yourself. We recommend you pack your own sunscreen, bug spray and toiletries. The hotel will have towels, but don't forget your bathing suit, sunglasses and comfortable shoes and sandals. Estas son vacaciones en la playa! La isla ofrece tiendas para comprar artículos que a veces podemos olvidar, pero son mucho más caros que si lo trajera usted mismo. Le recomendamos empacar su propio protector solar, repelente de insectos y artículos de tocador. El hotel tendrá toallas, pero no olvide su traje de baño, lentes de sol y zapatos cómodos y sandalias.

What is the appropriate attire for the wedding / VESTIMENTA

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be on the beach at the hotel. The bridesmaids will be in long dresses, and the groomsmen will be in dress pants and button downs. Please dress comfortable for a ceremony and reception on the beach (heels may sink in the sand, suit jackets and neck ties are not required) La ceremonia y la recepción serán en la playa del hotel. Las damas de honor llevarán vestidos largos y los novios llevarán pantalones de vestir y botones. Wedding Registry/ Registro-Apartados de Boda

Answer

While we understand the tradition of a wedding registry, we also recognize a destination wedding comes with financial costs much higher than a traditional wedding. Because of this we do not want guests to feel oblidged to give a gift. If you wish to give a gift, we do ask that you do not bring it to Roatan, and instead deliver or drop it off to 22 Cooks Farm Road, Franklin MA, 02038. Si bien entendemos la tradición de los apartados de bodas, también reconocemos que una boda fuera de la ciudad tiene costos financieros mucho más altos que una boda tradicional. Debido a esto, no queremos que los huéspedes se sientan obligados a dar un regalo.
