Cars will not be required for any of our Wedding-related events September 7th - 9th. Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from any events outside of Ortigia (Pool Party & Wedding Day). Taxis and airport transfers are available from Catania airport that can bring you directly to Ortigia. Should you wish to rent a car for your travels before or after the wedding - there is a car park outside of the Ortigia city center in Syracuse where you can leave your car parked for a daily fee. Ortigia itself is a "no car zone".
Shuttle transportation will be provided on September 8th to and from the Pool Party + on September 9th to and from the Wedding at Commenda di San Calogero leaving from ORTEA PALACE HOTEL. Please refer to our Travel & Stay tab for more details on recommended hotels and stays. Pick up + drop off times for each of the events will be provided to guests once RSVPs have been confirmed.

Visit the Museo Archeologico Regionale 'Pietro Griffo' and then head to the coastline where you'll hit Scala dei Turchi—a nice white cliff with sandy beaches.
