In 2016, Coca-Cola's slogan was Taste the Feeling. It was also the year that Brandon got his first taste of THAT feeling when his co-worker and friend Chase showed him a picture of the newest Coca-Cola employee joining their Sales team. It marked the beginning of what would become the most important deal Brandon was ever set on closing: a strategic ascent from deep in the Friend Zone to Peak Husband Material. Brandon played the long game. What started as friendship - fueled by Monster Energy drinks, night's out with the Coke Team, and playful banter in skinny jeans - led to one key opportunity to make his move using company sponsored resources: securing tickets to a Fall Out Boy concert. In typical Reilly fashion, she asked to bring one of her friend Stacie along; one minor glitch in Brandon's first date plan. Despite the challenge - it turns out that singing "Sugar We're Going Down" at the top of their lungs was the best way to kick off a love story. Reilly & B, as he's affectionately known, began not-so-secret dating at work in 2017. Turns out, subtlety was not the couple's strong suit. Navigating love and work was the first of many adventures to come. Over the past 8 years, those adventures have taken R&B from their first "I love you" in downtown Toronto, to a stint as long distance loves in Edmonton, to a cross-country move West to Vancouver where they experienced their first balcony sunset as roommates, and most recently back East to Montréal - where the bagels are under constant review. We've been lucky to create little pockets of life - and community - everywhere we've lived or travelled to. There is nothing we love more than a reason to travel and spend time with the people who fill up our cups the most. Tying the knot in Sicily - a place we've never been, in a country we've shared some of our best memories - feels perfectly, chaotically us. We are so excited to celebrate with you over multiple Spritzes, endless gelato, and our very questionable Italian accents. Let the countdown to Coutts begin! xoxo The Bride & Groom
