Pearl Farmers Market

A staple of San Antonio and a great place to explore for everyone in the family. Food, shops, drinks and places for kids to play. Farmers Market is open (generally) from 8am-2pm. Pearl is live most of the day.

La Villita Historic Arts Village

A place where artists of all kinds come to sell their art (or food). La Villita is historic and is the hot spot in San Antonio during Fiesta and the holidays, there might even be a concert happening across the river!

Hot Joy

Located on South Alamo St (a famously fun street here), Hot Joy is one of our favorite restaurants to take visitors. The unique Asian-fusion foods and ambiance are always a hit. Plus, The Friendly Spot, Casa Frida, and Liberty Bar are only steps away if you crave more food or drinks. Our favorites from Hot Joy: Twice Fried Crab Fat Wings (with a side of white rice), Spam Fried Rice, and Honey Walnut Shrimp. Wash it all down with a Frozen Zombie (21+)!

The DoSeum

A museum built for kids! I've never been myself because you need a kid to get in, but I've heard that it's a great experience for adults and children alike.

Blue Star Arts Complex

Both an arts complex and place for food n drinks. Including: the famous 1919 speakeasy, Stella's, Alamode Gelato, Halcyon, Burgerteca and La Tuna.

Soluna

Authentic and delicious Mexican food. Breakfast, lunch or dinner this place never disappoints us.

Tower of the Americas

Located in Hemisfair Park, Tower of the Americas is a historic staple in our skyline. A rotating restaurant experience at the very top with a beautiful view of the city. Hemisfair is a fun park place filled with unique structures and places to snack.

Food, fun, and lots of San Antonio culture.

Guillermo's

A charming indoor / outdoor restaurant and easily one of our favorite places to eat Italian food in San Antonio.

Cervecería Chapultepec

$3 everything? Say less. Tasty food and classic drinks with a little San Antonio twist. P.S. their flan is delicious.

Hopscotch San Antonio

A fun, incredible and immersive artistic experience for people of all ages! Please note, you do have to RSVP in advance for this. See their website for more info.

Maverick Texas Brasserie

One of our good friends is the Pastry Chef at this restaurant, go check it out if you're feeling fancy!
