Question

What is the dress code? Examples?

Answer

Since we are getting married at an Art Museum, the dress code is Black Tie Optional. Think: Royal Wedding 2018. Kidding! Sort of. For the ladies: dresses at the knee or full length. Please be mindful of the stone and grass you will have to walk on! For the gents: suit up! Ties optional.

Question

Can I bring someone?

Answer

Sorry, we are limited in who we can invite and are sticking tightly to the RSVP list. If your name does not have a plus one to check, please do not bring one.

Question

San Antonio in December? Should I take a jacket to the wedding?

Answer

Historically, you might only need a light jacket. Ceremony and Cocktail Hour are outside and we estimate it will only get to be about 70(F) at sunset. Reception is indoors and you will not need a jacket for that. If you plan to be outdoors any later than midnight, you might need a little something to keep you warm.

Question

Do we have to stay at the wyndham?

Answer

Nope! Feel free to look around and see if any other hotel / Airbnb strike your fancy, or if family/friends are planning to stay together in one hotel. We just wanted to offer a few options that are central to the city's hotspots and by the airport.

Question

Is valet mandatory?

Answer

Yes. Valet is mandatory because we want to minimize confusion on the McNay grounds and maximize convenience. If you Uber/ Lyft, please have them drop off at the same place the valet is.

Question

Do we have to wear masks?

Answer

At this time (August) we do not have the answers for the day of. We will update as we get closer and have more information!
