We're getting married!

When Megan graduated from UCLA, she accepted a job in San Diego and had two weeks to find somewhere to live. While viewing apartments one weekend, she met up with Evan, a friend of hers from college, for happy hour with a few other friends of his from San Diego. One of these friends happened to be Brandon. All Brandon remembers about the invitation is Evan mentioning he was meeting up with a cute friend from undergrad. All Megan remembers is that Brandon didn’t say much until the subject of why she was in town came up. Brandon’s roommate, Mark, was looking for a subletter for the summer, and the rest is history! We slowly got to know each other over the next few weeks. Megan thought Brandon was funny and sweet, even though he called tortillas “shells” and drives a “big dumb black truck” that blocked her parking spot. Brandon did all he could to find excuses to hang out with her. He invited her to all of his weekend plans, would let her watch whatever she wanted on the living room TV so they could spend more time together, and frequently asked her to lunch since they worked near each other downtown. It wasn't long until Brandon began telling his buddies from home how he wanted to ask his new roommate on a date when she moved out. Fast forward to today. We have enjoyed every minute of our journey together over the past six years—from moving in together, navigating new jobs, Brandon becoming a monster while studying for the bar exam, living in a van for three weeks while traveling the coast of Australia, moving in together again, Brandon reluctantly adapting to living with Megan’s cat (“she really hid the ball on that one”), and deciding to spend the rest of our lives together. We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you and look forward to having you all be a part of the best chapter of our story yet!
