Why so many date changes? Did you guys get married ahead of time?

Answer

Yes! Brandon and Lyndsey decided, in view of the pandemic and for safety reasons, to forego a large ceremony after several delays. They were married in a small ceremony on their 8th dating anniversary, Thursday, April 15, 2021. They will hold a reception and vow renewal at a later date.

What is garden attire? Because it is Emerald City/Wizard of Oz themed, will there be costumes?

Answer

Simply, wedding reception attire for a spring wedding. It’s your typical Sunday best! No costumes, please. While there is a theme to the festivities, it is not a costume party. The happy couple will not wear costumes and neither should you. Just wear your best and come have fun with your favorite couple who happens to love the Wizard of Oz!

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! We love children and want them to share in our joy with our families. Well-behaved children are welcome at the reception; please be aware that there will be alcohol served.

Who is planning and hosting the reception?

Answer

In the absence of the mother of the bride, the bride and her planner, Sandra Chastain, are planning. The bride, a former graphic designer by trade, also designed the previous save the dates and invitations as well as the reception centerpieces.
