When is the deadline to RSVP and book my hotel stay?

Answer

Please RSVP by Friday, July 25th, 2025 through the electronic invitation you received. We also recommend booking your hotel stay by July 25th or as soon as possible to ensure availability, as rooms may fill up quickly.

Don't forget to renew your passport

Answer

Since the wedding will take place in Mexico, please ensure your passport is up to date. Processing typically takes 4–6 weeks, so we recommend checking as soon as possible. You can renew your passport here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport/renew-online.html

Driving to the Resort

Answer

(Google Maps or Apple Maps work well for directions.) As you drive south on Highway 1D (Mexico’s version of the PCH), look for signs for “Bajamar” on your right. You’ll see a large entrance with a small waterfall and the word “Bajamar” in blue — it’s easy to spot. At the entrance gate, simply let the security guard know you’re here for the wedding. Once inside the resort, turn right and continue straight — the hotel will be on your left.

We Recommend Staying at the Resort

Since the reception will end late, we recommend spending the night at the resort and heading home the following morning. This way, you can relax and enjoy the celebration without the stress of crossing the U.S.–Mexico border late at night.

Crossing the border (Driving)

Answer

We want your trip to be smooth and stress-free — here are just a few quick tips for crossing the border! Entering Mexico: Crossing into Mexico is very simple. Just bring your driver’s license and vehicle registration — that’s all you’ll need when entering. Returning to the U.S.: To return to the U.S., you’ll need your passport for re-entry. Also, be sure to avoid the express lanes (such as SENTRI) unless you are an approved member. Accidentally entering these lanes can result in a fine, so simply follow the general lanes and you’ll be on your way!

In mid-September, the weather in Ensenada typically ranges between 75- and 85-degrees F and a low of ~64 degrees F.

Is there a dress code?

Formal Attire! The ceremony will take place on a cliffside overlooking the beach — while the setting is coastal, it is not on the sand. Please dress comfortably in formal/cocktail attire suitable for an outdoor celebration with a beautiful ocean breeze!

I have a plug-in car, are there chargers at the resort?

Yes, there are plug-in chargers at the resort to charge your Tesla or other electric vehicle.
