Our Story

Some love stories begin with sparks. Ours began with something even more powerful—God’s perfect timing. Although we grew up just down the street from each other, we had never met. It wasn’t until 2018, at a baby shower and gender reveal, that our paths finally crossed. I was walking in through the front door as Brandon came from the backyard. He walked up to me with a warm smile and said, “Hi, my name’s Brandon.” From that moment on, everything began to shift. That same night, we realized we had both been attending the same event for years—yet had somehow never noticed each other. Curious, we looked back at old photos and videos and were shocked to find ourselves standing in the background of each other’s memories—side by side or just feet apart. It felt like destiny had been patiently waiting for the right moment to bring us together. Later that evening, Brandon told one of my friends, “I know I just met her, but that’s my soulmate.” I wasn’t looking for a relationship, so I brushed it off, thinking, “He doesn’t even know me.” But over time, it became clear—he saw something real from the very beginning. From that night forward, we kept running into each other—every seven days, like clockwork. Whether planned or not, it felt like something greater was aligning our steps. While it all happened so fast, by the time his birthday came around it was undeniable: something meaningful was beginning to bloom. In 2019, I entered one of the most difficult seasons of my life when I lost my dad. Through it all, Brandon was there. When I told him I wasn’t ready for a relationship, he never pressured me. He simply said he wanted me to succeed—especially in my journey toward becoming a PA. He didn’t need to be my boyfriend—he just wanted to be in my corner. That kind of unwavering support planted the seeds for a deep and lasting love. I was raised in a Christ-centered home, and as our relationship grew, Brandon began his own journey of faith. Through our love, he found Christ—and today, he leads our relationship with prayer and purpose. We keep God at the center of everything we do. We pray together, grow together, and thank God in every season—through our triumphs, our setbacks, and in our vision for the future, we move forward in faith. We know this story is bigger than just us; it’s part of a divine orchestration. Early on, Brandon learned that my number one bucket list dream was to see the Northern Lights. I mentioned it when we were first getting to know each other—and he never forgot. He once promised me he’d take me to see them before I got into PA school. What I didn’t know was that he had been quietly planning something unforgettable for years. On January 13, 2024, under the glowing sky in Alaska, Brandon got down on one knee and proposed beneath the Northern Lights. It was magical, miraculous, and filled with God’s presence—a dream come true in every way. Today, I’m still on my journey to becoming a PA, and Brandon is running and building his businesses with vision and passion. Since he was 19, his dream was to be an entrepreneur—and by the grace of God, he’s made it a reality. But above all, we’re building a life—one rooted in faith, purpose, serving, and a shared mission. We’ve always believed our love wasn’t just about finding each other—it was about becoming the people we were called to be, together. Now, as we prepare to begin this next chapter as husband and wife, we do so with full hearts and deep gratitude. This isn’t just a wedding. It’s the continuation of a love story that only God could have written. With God at the center, this is only the beginning.
