Where is your venue located?

Answer

Union 12 is about halfway between Fort Wayne and Columbia City in Indiana.

What is the attire for your wedding?

Answer

Be comfortable! Our ceremony will take place on the covered back porch while our reception will be inside the great hall with air-conditioning. Casual attire is well suited for our wedding. Our wedding colors will be navy, burgundy, with sunflower accents!

Is your wedding ceremony and reception at different places?

Answer

Drive once and stay for everything! Our ceremony and reception are all in one place, at Union 12.

What's the plan between ceremony and reception?

Answer

Between the ceremony and reception, guests can check out the venue (it has a pond, grounds, front area, etc.) while the wedding party snaps some pictures. We are planning on having appetizers available from our caterer and hopefully a cornhole game set up.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

If coming from Fort Wayne (starting at Holiday Inn Purdue): Follow E Coliseum Blvd to Goshen Road, Turn left onto Goshen Road and keep left, Take US-30 W to turn right onto S 800 E/W County Line Rd N, Turn left onto Lincoln Way Rd, Arrive at destination at 7563 Lincoln Way Rd. If coming from any other direction, you will take US-30 to S 800 E/W County Line Rd N, Turn left onto Lincoln Way Rd, Arrive at destination at 7563 Lincoln Way Rd.

UBER services this area and Union 12 suggests the ride costs about $15-20 to get back to Fort Wayne.

What's the plan for the day?

Answer

Ceremony will begin at 2pm, social hour will follow, and reception will start at 4:30pm. We are currently working on timeline for reception.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Please know that your love and company on our wedding day is the only thing we could ask for! But yes, we are registered at Amazon and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. If you would prefer a cash gift we currently have goals for a new vehicle, home renovations, date nights, etc. so feel free to specify if you wish!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Feel free to return the RSVP that was included with the invitation or rsvp on our website. We update our website with the mailed rsvps to maintain a master list. *It is very important that you and your family returns the meal selection or fill out the reception rsvp online with your preferred meal options*

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are including our nieces, nephews, step-siblings, and cousins in the celebration but ask our friends to attend without children. If you have questions about this decision, feel free to reach out to Brandon and Bailey!

Who can I contact with any additional questions?

Answer

Leading up to the day of the wedding, Bailey and Brandon should be able to answer questions. Cheryl & Brelynn Whitehill should also be able to help!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do have a hotel block for guests that is available for reservations until August 4 at the Purdue Holiday Inn on Coliseum Blvd. After August 4, you can contact the hotel to see if there are any accomodations available. There are also several options for hotels in Fort Wayne so if Purdue Holiday Inn is full, let us know and we can try to help.
