Our Recommendations!

The Wedding Website of Angela Gallo and Brandon Ferraro
Norwalk, CT is a beautiful coastal city that offers plenty of activities for visitors to enjoy! We are so excited for our guests to come and see what we love so much about our hometown.

PLAY: Sea Kayak Connecticut

575 Riverside Avenue, Westport, CT 06880

Kayaking is one of our favorite things to do together, and this is one of the first spots we explored! Rent a kayak or paddle board and enjoy the water! Brang Tip: A double kayak will test your relationship - choose wisely! (hey, we're still getting married!!)

PLAY: The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk

10 North Water Street, Norwalk, CT 06854

There's a new harbor seal named Sono!! Go say hi! Brang Tip: It's fine to go without kids, but beware, if you were looking to get away from your kids - this might not be the place! Still, a solid aquarium with fun for all!

PLAY: Sherwood Island State Park

Sherwood Island Connector, Westport, CT 06880

Gorgeous park for a hike or relaxing on the beach! Brang Tip: We went here on one of Brandon's first visits to CT! (aw)

PLAY: Norwalk Cove Marina Mini Golf

48 Calf Pasture Beach Road, Norwalk, CT 06855

Who doesn't love mini golf at the beach?!

VISIT: Harbor Harvest

7 Cove Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06855

This place has our heart! We went here for breakfast right before Brandon proposed ◡̈ Ang sells her seashells here, too! Brang Tip: Best iced coffee EVER (Ang stops here every morning on her daily walk!) Brang Double Tip: If you're staying in town, you'll be visiting here Sunday (hint hint)

VISIT: Stew Leonard's

100 Westport Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851

If you come to Norwalk and don't visit Stew Leonards, did you even visit Norwalk?! Are we really recommending you visit a grocery store during your visit here? YES! If Ikea and Disney world and Whole Foods had a baby ..... see for yourself! Brang Tip: taste all the free samples! Double Brang Tip: don't go hungry! Triple Brang Tip: if you spend over $100 you get a free ice cream!

SHOP: Eco Evolution

135 Washington Street, Norwalk, CT 06854

"The best eco friendly shop in Connecticut!" Founded by Brad "The Eco Dude" we love having this shop right next to our building! It's filled with Earth friendly, sustainable, vintage and locally crafted gifts and trinkets. Shop for your next bamboo tooth brush or have a sustainable cup of coffee in the front window and people watch!

EAT: Overton's Seafood

80 Seaview Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06855

Extremely underrated classic New England fish shack! Best lobster roll (and we've tried all of them!) while sitting outside on the deck overlooking all of SoNo! If lobster roll's are your jam, also check out Knot Norms, or SoNo Seafood! Brang Tip: You'll get a free ice cream with a lobster roll, but don't do it! Walk over to Mr. Frosty's!!! (PS just give us the receipt, Brandon will use it!)

EAT: The Spread South Norwalk

127 Washington Street, Norwalk, CT 06854

Do we have an amazing restaurant with the ultimate vibes directly underneath our apartment? Yes! Do we go all the time? Yes! Check this out for the ultimate Brang experience! (Brang Tip: get the brussels and the burger, and remark at how adorable the mismatched plates are!)

EAT: The Galley

50a Calf Pasture Beach Road, Norwalk, CT 06855

The most incredible breakfast & lunch sandwiches, with undeniably gorgeous views right on the water! We loveeeee this spot! It's also amazing for a drink at night! Walking distance to our venue, would be a perfect place to grab a beverage before our ceremony!.

EAT: Match

98 Washington Street, Norwalk, CT 06854

Arguably the best restaurant in SoNo (there, we said it!) Delicious food, wonderful ambiance, this spot is a SoNo staple and one to consider for your dinner Friday night! (Brang Tip: Sit at the bar, and get reservations!)

EAT: Rowayton Seafood Restaurant and Market

89 Rowayton Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06853

This is the ultimate date night/special occasion restaurant! You'll forget you're in small town CT and think you're dining off the coast of Nantucket! Boats and martinis and oysters and sunsets, oh my! (Brang Tip: get reservations!)

EAT: Mecha Noodle Bar

116 Washington Street, Norwalk, CT 06854

Okay, so ramen might not be what you're hankering on a gorgeous summer weekend, BUT Mecha is not to be missed! One of our faves in the area! (Brang Tip: get every single app!)

DRINK: Sono 1420 American Craft Distillers

19 Day Street, Norwalk, CT 06854

Think we look pretty fab in our photo shoot at the bar? It's all SoNo 1420! An amazing distillery right here in SoNo! Brang Tip: Tell Blake - the best mixologist ever - that we sent you! Also, GO EASY!

DRINK: 314 Beer Garden

314 Wilson Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06854

Best vibes ever! Idyllic spot for day drinking. Brang tip: Car pool, as spots fill up here! (Drink responsibly!)

EAT: Sunset Grille

52 Calf Pasture Beach Road, Norwalk, CT 06855

Beautiful spot, right on the water! Great vibes and beautiful views.

DRINK: Spacecat Brewing Company

57 Chestnut Street, Norwalk, CT 06854

Local brewery that always something new on tap! Brandon went to a few home-brew meet-up's here!

EXPLORE: Southport Historic District

789 Harbor Road, Fairfield, CT 06890

Hop in the car and put this address in using the BIKE directions and see the backroads that Brandon sees on his long bike rides. Each fancy house gets more amazing as you pass and watch the boats go by on the beautiful sound and pick out a nice spot for Ang and Bran to buy! BRANG TIP: Go in the morning and end at Southport Beach where the Tasty Yolk food truck sits and enjoy a breakfast burrito on the beach! (Be careful of parking tickets..)

For all the days along the way
