Things To Do

A thriving area of Midtown with lots of great restaurants and bars--some of our favorites are Babalu, Boscos, Local, and Lafayette's.

Overton Square

A great local restaurant with some of the most talented chefs! Check out Old Dominic Distillery next door for cool rooftop views and drinks. Reservations recommended.

The Gray Canary

Check out the lobby at this famous Memphis hotel! It is beautiful at Christmas time and you may see the iconic duck march.

The Peabody Memphis

Central BBQ - Midtown

It might be chilly, but if you ever wanted to walk to Arkansas: now's your chance. Great view of the Memphis skyline!

Big River Crossing

A great zoo in a great location. Don't miss out on the Zoo Lights in December.

Memphis Zoo

The finest slice in Memphis! There is also a downtown location. Highly recommend the homemade vodka sauce!
Small craft brewery next door (Memphis Made), where you will find Brandon's favorite beer--- Fireside.

Aldo's Pizza Pies - Midtown

By far the best brunch spot in town! If you don't go early, be prepared to wait (it's worth it though).

This is the place it all started for us.  Walk by the MTR Offices on the 3rd floor. Grab some lunch at Global Cafe or Farm Burger. Take in the history and architecture. There's even a scavenger hunt online for the kids.
