We met while out with different friend groups at a dance club in Honolulu, Hawaii. He saw me with my college girlfriends and asked if we would join him on the empty dance floor. My gut reaction was to respond with "hell no!" But instead, I stepped out of my comfort zone and led my girlfriends onto the technicolored dance floor. From the moment we all hit the dance floor, the whole club joined in and we danced the night away! He slyly got my number after dropping us off at our dorms and asking if I wanted to go on a hike with him later. Plot twist, we didn't go on a hike until a year later! However, we snorkeled the pristine beaches of Oahu, drove around the entire island of Maui which consisted of endless waterfalls, self-discovered the hidden Mermaid Caves, kayaked on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, rode a helicopter through the mountains of Oahu, and parasailed outside the harbor of Honolulu, Hawaii! We found our life partner and the best adventure buddy anyone could ask for!
