In order to allow all guests, including parents, a few days of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an ADULT-ONLY occasion. This includes both ceremony + reception, along with all other pre-wedding activities. The venue is not fit or ideal for children, and we do not intend to have accommodations for guests under 21.
For all wedding events, we ask that you please follow: Formal, black tie optional or Semi-formal Please no athletic shoes, flip-flops, shorts, denim, t-shirts, sun-dresses, or casual day wear. Keep in mind, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held in the venue's courtyard, and the dinner will be held inside. After dinner, you're invited to use the indoor and outdoor space for the full reception!
We will open the RSVP section of our website and you are not required to use it until after receiving your formal invitation. Please use the RSVP section of the website to make your meal selections and make note of any other dietary restrictions.
We kindly ask that you're fully present with us during the ceremony and turn off/silent your phones. Our photographer will ensure only the best photos are taken, so no need to take photos during our ceremony. Thank you in advance, we can't wait to celebrate with you!
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm, we ask that all guests please be seated before or by 3:45 pm.
There is one, small parking area for our venue. We kindly ask that if you are able to, please use a ride-share service (Uber, Lyft, taxis) to get to and from the hotel to the venue. This will ensure people who absolutely need to drive, can have a place to park. There is street parking available around the venue, but please account for finding parking and walking to the venue when planning your day/arrival time.
We want all of our guests to enjoy their stay in Charleston so we have recommended a hotel that is in close proximity to our venue and central to many attractions. We would say if you are traveling with a group of 5+, an airbnb might be a better option! Both are really great options, and offer different experiences. We will have many food and drink options available during your entire time with us. There will be an open bar all evening as well as hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and a seated dinner for the reception.
