see y’all in low country!

For those of you who don't know, this love story started in March of 2016. Bianca was attending the University of Kentucky and in the middle of her junior year, spring semester. Her then roommate and Bianca + a few other friends made a decision to head down south to Charleston for a 5 day cruise. Way back in Ohio, Brandon + best man, Scotty were planning a trip of their own to the low country for the same 5-day Carnival cruise leaving out of Charleston. During this 5-day spring break vacation, Bianca spotted a tall, boy with tattoos from Ohio. Her interest was immediately sparked and for the remainder of the 5 days, she was in awe. This spring break cruise came and went and Bianca never got to speak to that boy from Ohio. From that point forward, Bianca's friends heard alllllll about the boy from Ohio on the cruise....everyday. Months passed and roughly 365 days later in 2017, Bianca's college girlfriends decided to board another cruise, out of Charleston headed for the same destination, during the same week as the year before in 2016 (spring break). While waiting in line to board the ship, Bianca spotted a tall boy from Ohio from across the room (again). Without hesitation, she knew this was her chance to finally talk to the boy she spent a year talking and daydreaming about. The spring break cruise came and went, and Brandon and Bianca spent 3.5 of the 4 days with each other. Learning about each other and enjoying their time on vacation on the ocean. Debarking the cruise, Bianca and Brandon continued to get to know each other, learn about each other, and make time for in each of their schedules for visits. Brandon still in Ohio and Bianca finishing her degree in Kentucky at UK - many, many of weekends were spent traveling back and forth from Kentucky to Ohio. Before they knew it, time was becoming more and more of a precious gift they were given together. In 2018, Bianca lost her father and Brandon was her rock. When she had to leave Lexington, not knowing if going back to Virginia was the best decision as well as not wanting to leave her closest people, Brandon opened his home and his heart in Ohio. In the last 5 years, they have created a home together, traveled, and spent countless hours with their closest people. In December 2022, after 5 years together, and alongside the loving pitbull named Leo and their cat Carl, Brandon decided to make his love official and ask Bianca for her hand in marriage. The night of the engagement was celebrated with Bianca's sister Patricia, and Brother-in-Law, Anthony, and mother, Kati. All of the dreams Bianca had of her "perfect" engagement were topped that evening by being able to spend it with family. Bianca and Brandon will celebrate their love with their closest friends and family in the place that holds a special place in their heart on the same weekend they met exactly 7 years to the date, back in Charleston.

We are ready to enter this next stage of our lives and couldn't think of a better way than to have ourselves a Charleston wedding surrounded by those we love the most. Everyone invited holds such a special place in both of our hearts and have shared memories with us along the way.
