Question

Do we want a wedding gift or would we rather have help paying for wedding expenses?

Answer

We both would personally rather have help paying for our wedding than for our guests to get us a gift. If you need details on what we need help paying with please let one of us know and we will provide more info.

Question

Are we having a traditional wedding?

Answer

The answer is both yes and no. Though we have stuck to a traditional wedding planning strategy, there are many things we have decided not to do traditionally as well as non-traditional things we want to include in our wedding.

Will we provide hotel rooms for our family to stay in for the night and/or weekend?

Answer

No. Unfortunately we do not have the funds to provide a hotel room for our intermediate family guests traveling from other locations. If you plan on staying the night or the weekend, please make your reservations ahead of time and please understand we will not be paying for the traveling expense. Thank you.

Who do i need to call/text on the wedding day if an emergency comes up?

Answer

PLEASE do not call the bride or groom about any emergencies that may come up on the day of. If you need to relay information please do so to either Susan Ruckman or Christie Stephens.

Can i bring a plus one if i did not RSVP them?

Answer

We will not tell you that you can not bring a plus one, however, we will be sending out save the date cards as well as invitations at almost a year in advance leaving you plenty of time to let us know. If you wait until the last minute to include your plus one in your RSVP we can not guarantee that she/he will have the same benefits/favors as you.

Can i invite my friends to come too?

Answer

You are allowed ONE guest to bring as your plus one. If you invite people to our wedding that were not counted for and were not invited there will be a very unhappy bride. Please let the bride and groom know if you have any questions regarding a plus one or inviting someone we didn't invite so we can properly include them in our guest total.

If i was not invited and i show up will i be asked to leave?

Answer

If you were not invited to our wedding and you come anyway we will have some one escort you out in a professional manor. We ask that our wedding be invite only. Thank you.

Can i bring my kid(s)?

Answer

Yes! Of course! However, we will not tolerate damage to the venue or loud behavior during our ceremony.

I am intermediate family and i have a list of people i want to invite, what do i do?

Answer

Respectfully, we ask that if you are intermediate family and you have guests you wish to be invited that you please let us know before hand and please understand that if we do not invite everyone on your list it is because we have a strict guest count we are trying to stick too.

Can i come to the rehearsal dinner if i am not in the wedding or close family/friends?

Answer

No. The rehearsal dinner will be strictly for those in the wedding and intermediate family.

Where is the wedding going to be held?

Answer

Bison Valley Lodge - located in between Americus and Ellaville GA.

Will we have an open bar?

Answer

No we are not having an open bar though some alcohol will be provided to the wedding party. Our guests are more than welcome to bring their own alcohol though. The only thing we ask is that you are safe and have a DD and that you limit your drinks, please do not get wasted and act inappropriate at our wedding as you will be asked to leave immediately.

Can i take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! However we ask that digital cameras be limited due to the amount of noise they make when taking a photo. We also ask that all guests be seated during ceremony and stay out of the isle and that your flash please be off. Please let the photographer do his/her job.

Question

I have a food allergy or limited food diet, will there be food for me to eat?

Answer

We will not be catering to each and every one of our guests needs, however if you have a food allergy PLEASE let us know and we will do what we can to accommodate your needs.

Question

I said i was coming but now i cant, what do i do?

Answer

We get it, things come up! We will not be mad at you if you can not come, just please let us know even if you have already RSVP'ed to us so we can keep an accurate count. :)
