Because we love it! Mexico City is where Carlos was born and lived for 6 months right before we met. Mexico City also has so many amazing restaurants, museums, cafés, and things to do. Not to mention it's where we got engaged ;)
Festivities start on Thursday morning, so we hope you can arrive by Wednesday night at the latest. However, there's so much to experience in the city that you could easily spend a week and still wish you had stayed longer!
We want you to be able to let loose, stay up late, and dance the night away! For this reason, the Welcome Dinner, Ceremony, and Fiesta will be adults-only. If you choose to bring your kiddos to Mexico City, they are more than welcome to join us for the Xochimilco Canals Tour and Brunch. RSVP details coming soon.
For starters, a passport! While passing through customs in Mexico City you'll also be handed a customs form that serves as your visa while you're in Mexico. You'll need this form in order to board your flight back to the United States. Make sure you keep it in a safe spot!
While most places accept all major credit cards, it would be smart to have some cash on hand. The best place to exchange dollars for pesos is in the Mexico City airport, after passing through customs. You can also find ATM's throughout the city.
