When Brandi was 5 she got her little sister and a bestie for life. **4 year old Brandi also made the request for naming her new sister Barbie...clearly that was denied.

Brandi and Amanda have been friends since middle school. Neither can remember how or when they actually met but have photos from middle school and remember meeting up to walk to Spanish 1 together at the start of freshman year. **They've gone through many phases together but apparently don't have many pictures together.
Matthew Beard

Their friendship started when their 7th Grade PE teacher Mr. Perkins was taking attendance calling "Matthew" and they both answered. Mattie asked Matthew in enthusiasm his name is Matthew too, in which he responded (In Sean Connery SNL Voice) "why yes it is." Mattie then asked in excitement if that was Sean Connery from SNL, to which he again responded in the same tone "why yes it is!", and from then, the pair were inseparable. Through middle and high school, they were known as "The Matts", "M Squared", the "M&Ms". Matthew has been one of Mattie's foundations for motivation and encouragement along with Mama and Papa Beard who also treated Mattie like another Son. Mattie & Josh initially met while attending the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell NM from 2012-2014. They met through music with Mattie being in Choir and Josh in Band. They became good fiends within their family friend group; Steffan, CJ, Cinnamon, Logan, and Doug. After they Graduated and Commissioned from NMMI, they finished their respective bachelors and roomed together at Ft. Benning during their 2017-2018 Infantry and Armor Basic Officer Leadership courses. They've remained close friends maintaining communication in their anime weeb group chat even though Josh only checks in monthly with a single message because he is the absolute worst in staying in touch with the boys. They maliciously berate eachother, but that is precisely why they've become great friends.
