First and foremost, we want all our guests to make the best decisions for themselves about attending our wedding! Your health is our top priority, so we are taking the following precautions to fight the risk of COVID transmission at our wedding.
As you noticed in your wedding invitation, we are requiring proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test within 72 hours to be allowed entry into the wedding venue on Saturday. Please check this section of the website regularly, as we will make updates here. For example, if the state government, local government, or the venue requires masks then we would need to enforce this as well.
Upon entry to the venue, we will be checking documentation from all guests at the front door before entering the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club.
Common sense goes a long way. If you are vaccinated but have symptoms, please get a test before attending. Please feel free to wear a mask if it makes you feel comfortable.
Question
Definition of fully vaccinated.
Answer
Per current CDC guidelines you are fully vaccinated 2 weeks after final dose in primary series. Two (2) doses of Pfizer or Moderna or one (1) dose of Johnson & Johnson.
Question
Do I need to bring my vaccination card?
Answer
No, but you must have a picture of your vaccine card on your phone. We recommend emailing the picture to yourself in order to have access to the picture in the case something happens to your phone.
Question
What kind of COVID test is accepted?
Answer
You must have a negative test from a facility that offers COVID testing to show evidence that the test matches your name and shows the date the test was taken. It can be a PCR test (rapid or slow) or antigen test (rapid or slow).
A negative at-home test will also be accepted. The negative at-homes test must be taken on the morning of July 2, 2022, with your name written on the test. The picture of the negative test must be time-stamped and dated.
Question
When exactly is 72 hours before the wedding?
Answer
We will accept any negative PCR test taken between Wednesday at 3 pm and the start of the wedding. Tests taken on Wednesday morning prior to 3 pm do not qualify as they are outside of the 72-hour window.
All at-home tests must be taken on the morning of July 2, 2022.
Question
What is Formal Attire?
