FAQs

The Wedding Website of Erica Ghigliotty and Branden Yates
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal Garden Attire: Celebrate our special day in a garden-inspired style. We invite you to dress in ensembles that blend comfort and elegance—think chic sundresses, vibrant floral prints, lightweight suits in soft seasonal tones, or classic suits and floor-length gowns. As a reminder, evenings might get chilly in the mountains, so consider bringing a light layer to keep comfortable. See mood board/inspiration above!

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Early responses are encouraged, but the deadline is March 1st. We will send out reminders in February.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children at our wedding, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening with the exception of the flower girl, ring bearer, and junior bridesmaids. However, children are welcome to attend the “night before” event at Hi-Wire in the case that they travel with guests to Asheville for the weekend.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We've reserved a hotel block for our guests' convenience. You can find all the booking details on our wedding website's travel page. If you encounter any issues securing your discounted room, please don't hesitate to contact Erica or Branden directly.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we’ll be offering an open bar for all guests to enjoy complimentary drinks during cocktail hour and the reception. To ensure a smooth celebration, we kindly ask that guests do not bring their own alcoholic beverages to the venue as it is prohibited. We've carefully put together a generous selection of beverages to elevate the evening!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is free for guests in the paved lot next to the venue. We encourage carpooling when possible, and for those ~enjoying~ our celebration, ride-share services like Uber or Lyft are great options. Guests may leave their vehicles overnight, but would need to move them by noon the following day.
