Market vendors, flying fish, food and drinks, live music, flowers-on-flowers...classic Seattle. Some recs include: - Old Stove, brewery with amazing water views - Rachel’s Ginger Beer, nonalcoholic ginger beer (but they can also make a mean mule!) - Piroshky Piroshky - The first Starbucks - Beechers’s Cheese - Gum Wall, disgusting yet fascinating tourist attraction - Lowell’s at the Market, sit upstairs for water views with your brunch - Le Panier, French bakery with all the yummy things
The Space Needle has recently received a face lift, it's got a glass floor that revolves to give you 360 views of the water and the city! Our recommendation: get the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass discounted combo ticket to see both of the amazing sites in one day
A great way to see ALL the sights of Seattle! The CityPass includes admission to the Space Needle and Seattle Aquarium, plus access to three other attractions. If you are staying near Seattle Center or using our hotel room block, consider seeing Chihuly Garden and Glass and Museum of Pop Culture (MoPop). The Woodland Park Zoo has amazing walking paths and offers a great afternoon outside.
Great neighborhood near Seattle Center and downtown with many bars and restaurants. - Rocco’s (pizza) - Ohana (Hawaiian and sushi with tropical drinks) - Navy Strength (tiki bar) - Bathtub Gin (speakeasy) - Shorty’s (clown themed dive bar) - The Jupiter (barcade)
This is not an exhaustive list, but here are some of our faves in the city: - Burke-Gilman Brewing (staple after-work stop for Ashley) - Ravenna Brewing (great patio, food trucks) - Fremont Brewing (lively outdoor brewery space; please join us here for our rehearsal dinner!) - Urban Family Brewing (known for their sour beers; walking distance to several other amazing breweries in the Ballard neighborhood such as Stoup, Reuben's, Great Notion, Lucky Envelope, Wheelie-Pop, and many more). - Chuck's Hop Shop (beer store with several locations, lots of beer here - taps and bottles/cans)
