They have 35 rooms and operate a 2 night minimum stay policy, with the occasional 1 night offered where available. They are open part time between October and April. Rathmullan Cottages comprises 4 luxury holiday cottages set in mature, landscaped grounds adjacent to the village centre and long sandy beach. Sharing the same landscaped site, there are 6 village homes which are equipped and furnished to the highest standards. On this website you’ll also find details of a 200 year old traditional thatched cottage and a wide selection of quality holiday homes, most of which are located close to the beach and all amenities of the village. Cottages are only available Sat-Sat during July and August with limited availability (12 of 24 remaining) so book quickly!

While there are no trains direct to Rathmullan, Bus Eireann is the primary transport for Ireland and there are direct routes from Dublin to Letterkenny. Bus Éireann - Route X32: Serving Dublin to Letterkenny (3.5 hours). From Letterkenny you can take the local bus to Rathmullan (35 minutes) or hire a taxi!
