Sam and Brady met in San Diego, CA. Sam shared an Uber home with a group of random dudes who proceeded to invite her over for a "pre-game." Once Sam arrived at the pre-game, she immediately noticed a "financial planning" book in one of the rooms, that room belonged to their very attractive roommate, Brady. (If you know Sam and Brady, they now love financial planning together.) Brady ignored Sam the entire night because his friend called "dibs" on her, and they eventually lost each other at the bars. Sam went to lunch the following day with a college friend where she said "I met a guy at last night, I will find him, and at least go on one date with him." Sam then stalked Brady's friends until she found him again. The next time they saw each other, Brady asked her on a first date...the rest is history. Fun Fact: Brady threw up all over Sam's bathroom on their first date.

Brady and Sam currently live in Seattle, WA. They planned a weekend to go back and visit San Diego, the place where they started their journey together. Brady spent a great deal of time secretly planning the proposal all the while keeping the plan secret from the ever-so nosy Samantha. On Friday night, he forced, her against her will, to dress up and go to Tory Pines for a hike. She bitched non-stop on the way down to the ocean overlook. Halfway down the hill, she told Brady she was going to 'slit his throat' if this hike didn't end in a proposal. Once they reached the overlook, she sat down and refused to come stand with Brady. He finally got her over there, and he got down on one knee and proposed. A photographer captured the entire moment. Thank goodness Brady's neck is still okay. Later that night Sam was surprised again as Brady had planned a surprise party where family had flown in to enjoy the celebration. They had a wonderful weekend celebrating with friends and family.
