The Double Crested Cormorant is a common bird seen in the Key West National Wildlife Refuge, where Brady and Meg met conducting eco-tours. They mate for life and quickly became one of their favorite sights on the water and a symbol for their relationship. Meg and Brady ultimately started a hat company inspired by the bird, and recently purchased a sailboat, which quickly earned the name "Cormorant."
