How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP via the website by June 26th

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding events will be at the Grand River Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We strongly recommend the Grand Harbor Resort.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same place?

Answer

Yes, both will be hosted at the Grand River Center. Full timing will be posted on the Schedule page.

Question

Are the Grand River Center and Grand Harbor Resort connected?

Answer

Yes. The Grand River Center and Grand Harbor Resort are connected by an indoor walkway, so guests staying at Grand Harbor can get to the venue without needing to travel off-site.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire (or semi-formal).

Question

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be wearing eucalyptus (green).

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome. We know childcare and travel can be difficult, so we want families to feel included. We just ask that kids are respectful during the ceremony. If you need to step out, take a break, or even skip the ceremony portion to care for your child, we completely understand and won’t be offended. We’d rather the ceremony stay calm and uninterrupted.

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes early so you have time to park, walk in, and get seated.

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

There will be no gift registry in the traditional sense. We will have a few cash funds available on our online registry and there will also be a card and gift table at both the ceremony and reception.

Question

What if I want to make a weekend out of Dubuque?

Answer

You should. Dubuque is a tourist-friendly river town with plenty to do for just about anyone, great restaurants and bars, shopping, riverwalk views, breweries, museums, and lots of outdoor options nearby. Whether you want a relaxed weekend or want to stay busy, you’ll have options. If you want recommendations please reach out to Brady or Erika.

Question

Does the Grand Harbor Resort have things to do for kids?

Answer

Yes, Grand Harbor has an indoor waterpark, which can be a fun option for families.

Question

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

We’ll miss you, but we understand. Please RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly.
