Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are not providing any transportation, but there are many options within the city of Chicago, including trains, buses, taxis and uber/lyft. The ceremony and reception venues are only 15 minutes apart. Please see the schedule page for addresses.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We recommend using Lyft/Uber for the afternoon/evening, but if you are driving, please read carefully below! Ceremony: The Logan Theater is steps from the Logan Square Blue Line and the Milwaukee (56) bus. There is metered street parking (up to 3 hours) on Milwaukee Avenue, and neighborhood parking within walking distance from The Logan Theatre. Reception: Chicago Theater Works Free parking after 6:00PM on Saturdays on side streets. 2-hour metered parking until 10:00PM seven days a week on Belmont ave. Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding attire is cocktail style. https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364 Please no jeans or shorts of any kind! Feel free to wear what you feel best in otherwise! We want to see everyone looking amazing!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 20th! This is 4 weeks before the wedding, and allows us plenty of time to finalize for the day-of. If you do not RSVP by then, we will mark you as a 'NO'.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have limited plus-ones in order to keep the guest count under a certain number. When you RSVP, you will see if you were given a plus-one or not. Please understand if you were not given a plus-one, as we have limited space. Thank you!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are limiting our ceremony and reception to children in the family only. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we hope to see you regardless!

Question

I RSVP'd 'YES' but can no longer make it. What should I do?

Answer

If you can no longer make it after RSVP-ing, please let us know as soon as possible! We understand life happens, and would just appreciate a heads up. If you or anyone in your family are feeling unwell or sick in ANY way, please stay home! We do not want to cause anyone else to get sick if we can help it. Thank you!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our dinner will be Mexican food, buffet style. There will be vegetarian and gluten free options available. If you have a more specific food allergy or dietary restriction that you need us to know about, please tell us ASAP!
