FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kristina Canales and Bradley Tews
We know you have some questions -- honestly, so do we. Weddings can be hard, let us try to elevate that stress off your shoulders! If your question wasn't answered below, text us at (805)-610-8032!
Question

What time should we get there?

Answer

We would love for our guests to arrive any time between 3:30-3:50, we really want to be punctual and start the ceremony at 4:00pm. That way we have more time for dancing later!!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot that has a shuttle that leads to the ceremony, and a free shuttle that will take you to the reception!

Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will be held outside, so please make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day! Limited umbrellas and heaters will be provided throughout the reception.

Question

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS AT THE CEREMONY?

Answer

As much as we love that you want to capture our special day, we ask that you remain "unplugged" for the ceremony so that you can stay in the moment with us. Unless you're super discreet, we don't want any iPhones or Androids getting in the shot for our amazing photographer!

Question

WILL THERE BE FOOD?

Answer

Yes! We will be having appetizers during "cocktail" hour and a buffet style dinner during the reception. We hope you're hungry for tacos! There can be vegetarian options made, if necessary, please reach out to us!

Question

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

Yes! There will be champagne, wine, beer and seltzers for the wedding! While we love to party, please be mindful of your own limitations. Remember, drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, no, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they will be specifically addressed on the invitation envelope and listed as an attendee when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What should we wear to your wedding?

Answer

We'd love for our guests to be dressed up with us in a semi-formal attire. Ladies, think of an elegant garden party. Long, flowy dresses or a nice sundress would suffice. There are parts of the venue that are outdoors or in grass, so unless you're a pro in stilettos, a heel or flats with a sturdier base might be best. Gentleman, please, just no jeans. Slacks with a button up shirt and some dress shoes would look fantastic! Again, it is outdoors so a blazer wouldn't hurt, but it isn't necessary. We can't wait to see our guests all dressed up!

Question

Is there a theme we should follow for our outfits?

Answer

No! We encourage our guests to wear colors! The joy of having our wedding in the spring is all the colors that come with it! Think of yellows, oranges, pinks, blues, purples, floral patterns, you name it! The bridesmaids will be a mix of different greens but don't let that stop you from wearing whatever you are comfortable in!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids that were formally invited with their family members are welcomed! If they were not included in the RSVP option then we unfortunately cannot accomodate them.
