Best Man
Dave and Alex met at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Dave kickstarted Alex's desire to ferment things. Ironically, Dave only makes wine. A missed opportunity given his surname. Dave is a genuine, upstanding family man. He's also prone to wandering off, so please keep an eye on him.
Groomsman
Patrick and Alex met as coworkers. They share a love of history, guns, poker - and more recently - theology. Patrick has since left that job, cut off his ponytail, submitted to Rome, and fathered multiple children. He also does martial arts, so tread lightly.
Groomsman
High school friends, Rafael and Alex really bonded over a shared love of self-imposed torture - mainly in the form of competing in Spartan and other obstacle course races. Raf is one of the toughest people you'll ever meet. He's genuine, loyal, and has a brutal sense of humor.
Groomsman
Anthony is Alex's fraternity "big." However, Alex prefers to think of Anthony as his "medium." This is a reference to his stature, not any latent psychic ability. Anthony played a major role in Alex's college experience, recruiting him for the school's orientation team, and later, the TKE fraternity. Anthony flies planes and teaches children. He also shares Alex's passion for craft beer.
Groomsman
Andrew and Alex met through a shared community group at Redeemer Presbyterian. Andrew isn't just Alex's tallest groomsman - he's got a larger-than-life personality. Andrew excels at bringing people together, and has supported Alex's God and brewing habits. He also makes wooden swords.
Groomsman
Jairus and Alex struck up a friendship through church. Jairus is clever, deeply funny, and a gentleman scholar in the truest sense. An intellectual sort, Jairus works with rockets, satellites, and (presumably) space lasers. It's unclear if he knows there's a picture of him as Gaston on the Internet. Alas, now he does.
Matron of Honor
Danielle and Ashlyn met their freshman year of college as hallmates. They first declared their best friend status while participating in a psychological study for extra credit that asked them to define their friendship. Since then, they have been roommates, sorority sisters, annual beach trip goers, and Target's biggest fans. Ashlyn credits Danielle with her becoming a Christian.
Bridesmaid
Alexia and Ashlyn met through a community group at Grace Midtown Church in Atlanta. They bonded over countless sleepovers, a love of Christmas/the Hallmark Channel, hikes, and thrift shopping. They enjoy voice memoing about everything from their day to day activities to becoming dog moms to theology.
Bridesmaid
Rebecca and Ashlyn met in college as sorority sisters, eventually becoming president and vice-president, respectively, and roommates. Rebecca taught Ashlyn all about makeup and being confident. They also connected over watching YouTube, sharing their shopping hauls, and charcuterie boards. They are both 2026 brides.
Bridesmaid
Sam and Ashlyn met in college and solidified their friendship climbing Table Mountain on a service trip to South Africa. They were also roommates after college. Late night chats and scream singing in the car, Cold Stone Creamery ice cream, sharing clothes, and prayer are cornerstones of their relationship.
Bridesmaid
Delaney and Ashlyn grew up about 30 minutes away from each other but did not meet until college. Delaney is Ashlyn's sorority "little sister". They share a love of Taylor Swift and baking, although Delaney’s baking is next level. They also have an appreciation for cocktails, crafts, and all things Fall.
