Once upon a time, in a Magic Kingdom not too far away, there was a young lady arriving to her first day of work on the Walt Disney World Railroad. Unbeknownst to her, that is the day she met the man she would one day marry... her trainer. For several years, the two were just close friends. They would hang out occasionally, until one day, 5ish years later, fate (and life), decided it was time for the two to get together. It happened one slightly hot day in August, 2016, on a parking tram, when the man decided to ask the lady if she would consider dating. After a few hours of contemplation, she finally responded "Why not?".
It was a dark and stormy night...wait, what? No, it was a beautiful, sunny, California day. The two lovebirds in our story were visiting Disneyland with her best friend and her husband. They were headed to dinner at Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel, when they stopped at a white gazebo to take photos. After a couple of poses, the man in love grabbed a gift from the best friend, and gave it to his lady. After much fighting on her part about how you can't ask someone to open a gift that is not yours to give, the best friend finally acknowledged that the gift can be opened. After a minor struggle with the ribbon, the box was finally opened to reveal a book titled "Loving You - 101, My Reasons Why". The lady started reading the passages in the book, but after what seemed to be the last one.. there were blank pages. Hidden at the very back of the book was a bearded stick figure down on one knee with the words "Will you marry me?" Then the best friend gave him a box, he got down on knee, said his little speech that no one can remember, and officially asked the question out loud. Her response was "You know I will". It wasn't until the next day that the man informed his lady that she hadn't exactly said "Yes"... so she did.
