Flight
We most recommend this airline because it offers two FREE checked bags! Plus a free carryon! Perfect for bringing all the wedding essentials (and New England weather attire). Perks: free stuff Downside: may require layovers
Flight
Being a New Yorker, Savannah used JetBlue so many times they probably recognize her by face. Often has a lot of flight options from many different airports and lots of direct paths. Perks: less time thumb-twiddling in layover airports Downsides: checked baggage and seating can often cost extra
House Or Rental
We highly recommend using an AirBnB or VRBO, as we've used both for many of our travels and adventures and they offer very versatile accommodations ranging from intimate to large group hostings.
Hotel
Please check the "Where to Stay" tab for our recommendations of nearby hotels. Due to it being prime fall foliage season in New England at the time of our wedding, the rates for group blocks were not spectacular or money-saving for our guests.
Rental Car
Our church is ~14min away from the reception venue, which may require a means to get to and from. A rental car is something to consider for the distance between to make things easier for our guests.
Train
Looking for a pre-wedding tour of coastal Connecticut, or a way to stay farther out and make travel easier? The Connecticut Rail has a Shoreline East track with many stops that offer stunning views and adventures, with stops in both New London and Groton.
