Victoria “Torrie” Yerkovich
Bride
Torrie is the nicest person you'll ever meet and loves being a dog mom to Riddle and gives him daily scratches every morning. Shes one of the most motivated people I've ever met and will stick to any task at hand. If her life was a movie, it would be Father of the Bride.. especially as we are watching it as we speak. She works in fundraising for ASU and enjoys her work. Also, shes a great cook and makes great meals with the Instant Pot. One of the most important aspects is that she is a family person, just like me. Like Cinderella, she lives every day to the fullest before the clock strikes midnight! She deserves the best and nothing but the best. Love, Brad and Riddle.
Bradley “Brad” Young
Groom
Brad is first and foremost, a dog dad to Riddle aka the best dog. Fond of animals, he also has a tortoise named Cher (yes, there was a Sonny too) and asks Torrie to house additional pets daily to create what is bound to be the Young Family Farm. Brad is sports fanatic and is guaranteed to know any stat you'd like to know! He has dedicated his career to the behavior health field and has a heart for helping others. Brad is the friendliest guy in the room and has never met a stranger. He is honestly the best and most handsome guy I know, and this is written by Torrie so it may be biased but true nonetheless!
Sarah Heeter
Maid of Honor
Torrie and Sarah first met as bridesmaids during Amy Stevens wedding. Amy knew her best gal pals would hit it off and she was right! Sarah is a loving best friend, fierce advocate and is known to being the best life and career coach a girl could ever hope for. Torrie and Sarah have been troop leaders for Girl Scout Troop 73 together, sold lots of Girl Scout cookies with one another and enjoy watching movies together while Torrie falls asleep with a blanket before the end of the previews. She’s the first call when things go terribly wrong and talks through problem solving or when life gives you a victory and you want to celebrate!
Cameron Ackley
Best Man
Brad first met Cameron in middle school jazz band and they spent many nights playing rock band in the Young’s basement. When it was time to head off to college, Brad convinced him to attend the same college as him at Northern Colorado University. During college, Cameron and Brad were founding fathers of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity and roomed together throughout their stay. Cameron’s described as one part of the tripod with their friend, and Brad’s groomsmen, John Bull. Cameron has dedicated his career to the BoyScouts of America where he currently serves as a Director overseeing several outdoor camps in Colorado.
Amy Stevens
Matron of Honor
Amy and Torrie met at Arizona State University in the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance program. They quickly bonded over community service projects, dinner parties and margaritas before their evening finance class (shh!). Amy is a lover of God and per pup Pinot, a kind hearted and loving best friend, and is quick to give pep talks that make you feel like you can do anything ! She’s humble, the ultimate hostess and makes the world’s best charcuterie boards, seriously.
John Bull
Best Man
John and Brad attended middle school together and became close friends in high school. He’s part of the tripod (as described above) with both Brad and Cameron. During College, Brad and Cameron were found frequently taking road trips to visit John at University of Wyoming. He’s described as a “cool dude” and first in the pack to get married and have kids...he’ll have to show them the ropes! John is currently a History teacher and he was sure to tell Brad that his wedding was taking place during the South Carolina primary elections.
Erin Owen
Bridesmaid
Erin and Torrie first met while working together at Make-A-Wish Arizona and bonded over working events together...lots and lots of hours during events! Erin is kind, funny and a fierce protector of her loved ones. During their time working together, Erin met her future husband and Torrie joined in the celebration as one her bridesmaids. She is a loving dog mom, an old soul much like Torrie and is expecting her first baby (which Torrie can’t wait to meet)!!
Nico Goda
Groomsman
Nico and Brad first met during their freshmen year at college, Nico worked at the front desk at Brad’s dorm and quickly became friends and eventually roommates. As a Disney enthusiast, Nico has participated in several Disney Marathons with Cameron and both have all of their medals proudly displayed in their homes. Nico currently works at his local news-station in Denver, CO shooting and editing video for daily broadcast. He’s witty, friendly and has a good time wherever he goes.
Rebekkah Young
Bridesmaid
Torrie first met Rebekkah when going to meet Brad’s family for the first time, she was the first one to ask what everyone was thinking—“What are your intentions with my brother?” Luckily, Torrie had an answer and Brad was too shy to answer! Rebekkah is a gatherer of ensuring the whole family gets together and has a great time. She loves her family, puppies and knows how to have fun! Rebekkah is mom to Brad’s niece Tierra and nephew Matt. Torrie is excited to have her as her future sister-in-law! Torrie isn’t the newest family member to join as Rebekkah was recently engaged to Mike and they will be Mr. and Mrs. Katona in Summer of 2021!
Michael Young
Groomsman
Michael is Brad’s older brother and if you find the two together, you’ll most likely hear about their rambunctious tendencies growing up. There’s silly pictures of them at Halloween in matching cow outfits...enough said! Michael is a First Sargent in the United States Air Force and just received his Masters degree. When he isn't at work he enjoys spending time with his wife Stephanie and three-year-old son Kaysen!
Sammi Mejia
Bridesmaid
Sammi and Torrie first met while working together at Valley of the Sun United Way and were often known for epic DIY floral arrangements, running around for events and often times finishing each others sentences during staff meetings! Through lots of hard work and late hours, Sammi and Torrie bonded over community events and making sure to have fun along the way! Sammi is funny, smart, a caring friend and always has a joke or sarcastic comment to lighten the mood...which is something Torrie always appreciates about her!
Tony Yerkovich
Groomsman
Tony is Torrie's younger brother and is the middle child of the Yerkovich kids...by about 27 minutes! Tony is studying Nursing and hopes to work in the medical field after college. In his spare time, he likes to go on adventures with his girlfriend Elicia and works part-time as a chef at a local catering company. Tony loves to help others, spend time with his family, gives the best hugs and has a contagious laugh!
Jaida White
Junior Bridesmaid
Torrie has known Jaida since she was first born! Jaida’s mom Dee Dee and Stephanie are goddaughters to Torrie’s mom Michelle. Torrie, Dee Dee and Steph would spend lots of time growing up together going to father daughter dances with their dads, having tea parties and babysitting Torrie’s brothers Tony and Tyler together! Jaida is a sweet and kindhearted 12-year-old with killer dance moves and keeps any party going! She is a cheerleader for the Anthem Eagles and will be headed to 7th grade! She is also going through training to be a scuba diver with her papa. Torrie loves her adventurous spirit, loving nature and witty humor!
Tyler Yerkovich
Groomsman
Tyler is Torrie's youngest brother, by you guessed it.. about 27 minutes! Tyler is the adventurer of the family always finding the next adrenaline rush; dirt-biking, skateboarding, jumping off cliffs into the lake.. basically anything that ensures we keep a close eye on him! When he isn't engaging in something fun outdoors, he's studying business marketing in college and has an entrepreneurial spirit. He's also become quite the chef from his catering at a local catering company and is sure to charm all of his customers!
Riddle
Best Dog
Riddle is the very best dog. He likes short walks, killing squeaky toys and getting daily belly scratches. Riddle is mischievous, always happy to see you and will dance for his meals every day. Riddle loves Brad and was definitely his wing-man in sealing the deal with Torrie. He was often posed for pictures in their early communication and Torrie fell in love with him since their first walk around Tempe Town Lake. He enjoys digging in piles of fresh laundry and blankets, hates the rain and is often found prancing when the ground is not comfy enough for his delicate paws.
