We have outlined the best travel options to help you get to Provence smoothly.

Flight

flying to france

Marseille Provence Airport (MRS) is the closest and most convenient airport, located just 45 minutes from Cadenet by car with direct flights from London, Manchester, Bristol, and Edinburgh. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE) is a good option for those wanting to explore the French Riviera before or after the wedding, located about 2 hours and 15 minutes from Cadenet by car, with direct flights from London, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Bristol. Avignon Provence Airport (AVN) is a smaller regional airport, approximately 1 hour from Cadenet, with seasonal direct flights from London City and Southampton. Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport (MPL) is around a 2-hour drive from Cadenet, offering direct flights from London Gatwick, Luton, and Stansted.

Train

travelling by train

For those traveling by train, take the Eurostar from London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord, then transfer to Paris Gare de Lyon to catch a high-speed TGV to Aix-en-Provence (approx. 3 hours). From Aix, Cadenet is just a 35-minute drive, with options to hire a car, take a taxi, or use local bus services

Rental Car

getting around provence

You have the option of renting a car for flexibility, as Cadenet and the surrounding areas are best explored by car. However, Ubers and local taxis are readily available to get you to the venue. Additionally there are numerous public transport options to get you from the various airports to the towns and villages around Provence.
