Below are two recommendations for hotels near the wedding venue in Carlsbad. This area has great beach access and fun/chill beach towns. There are also plenty of options to stay closer to San Diego if you're planning to see some sites near the city! If that's the case, we would recommend looking for an airbnb in South Park, North Park, or University Heights Area to stay in a walkable area with easy access everywhere. For transportation, you could absolutely get around with uber/lyft (Carlsbad is about 35 minutes away from the airport). Unfortunately, there isn't great public transportation so if you would prefer a little more freedom we would recommend renting a car.

Although it's a bit of a splurge, this hotel is across the street from the beach, very close to the venue, and has more amenities. Also, parking is not included in the price for those looking to rent a car! Due to the popularity of the area, we don't have rooms reserved and would recommend booking soon if this is the spot for you. We are planning to stay here as well!

Located in a residential area, this hotel is a little more inland and quiet. It's still only 15 minutes away from the beach and down the street from the venue. The hotel is also pet friendly, has a pool, and offers free breakfast! We do have a discounted block here so use the link below to book!
