Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Kelley Wentling

Bride

Brad Groves

Groom

Anna Zarkoski

Maid of Honor

Anna and Kelley met at the University of Richmond where they played field hockey together. They quickly became the best of friends bonding over early morning workouts, the "goalie game", summer concerts with the fam, and basically everything else. These two were inseparable throughout college (literally, sat together for every away trip) and now they keep up with their weekly phone call. This day couldn't exist without Kelley's best friend by her side to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Jeff Groves

Best Man

If you know Brad, you should know that pretty much all of his interests have come from Jeff. Whether it be cars, guitars, blues music, or even a strange attraction to WWI-era battleships, you can bet that the catalyst behind it all is his older brother Jeff. Who would Brad be without Jeff? Good thing we never have to find out.

Kathrin Hashemi

Maid of Honor

Kelley and Kathrin met while working at KCIC in Washington D.C. They bonded over working late, lululemon, Lilly Pulitzer, acai bowls at South Block, and lots of wine. Don't be surprised if you find her hiding off in a corner searching for wifi so she can run queries and answer hundreds of emails. She might run the world one day, but for now, she will be running the wedding!

Brian Reil

Groomsman

Some say Brian and Brad were best friends before Brad was even born, and indeed Mrs. Groves and Mrs. Reil set up their share of play dates very early on. Today, over a quarter century later, Brian remains Brad’s best friend.

Sara Craig

Bridesmaid

Sara and Kelley were blessed with the same blood, cousins since day one. Putting these two together has always been trouble and now that these two finally share the same city, Brad has quickly adapted! This wedding party better be prepared. Since Sara also lives in Austin, she will have to hear about the wedding planning at weekly happy hours or nail dates and she won't complain.

Mike Casarona

Groomsman

Mike is co-frontman of the legendary Central Jersey rock trio, Cas, Mac and Groves. Without Mike’s vocal prowess up front, “CMG” would just be a lousy cover band with a lead guitarist struggling his hardest to mimic Jerry solos. In addition to Mike’s contributions to the band, somehow, Brad’s high school experience would seem incomplete without Mike’s Mercedes W124 shuttling him around to Guitar Center and off campus lunches.

Helen Warner

Bridesmaid

Helen and Kelley were roommates at the University of Richmond and continued living together in Washington D.C. post graduation. They have been bonding over field hockey, working late, Bold Rock IPA on draft, country music, and early morning workouts (during and after college) for years. You'll probably find her on the beach a few miles away for a casual five mile run or near the fruit display!

Connor McElwee

Groomsman

Connor is the other co-frontman of the eponymous Cas, Mac and Groves. Similar to Mike’s W124, Brad’s high school experience would not seem complete without the presence of Connor’s two door Chevy Blazer, complete with a WWJBD (what would Jimmy Buffet do?) bumper sticker on the back.

Katherine Cook

Bridesmaid

Katherine and Kelley also met at the University of Richmond and became best friends when they lived together senior year. They have traveled all over to spend time together in Miami, Myrtle Beach, Jupiter, Boston, D.C. and Austin. This travel companion's next stop will be Stone Harbor, NJ! She is quirky and fun and knows how to make people laugh. Look out for her on the dance floor!

Brian Schoepfer

Groomsman

Brian accompanied Brad through most of his manual labor-intensive summer jobs throughout high school and college. Great friendships are made even stronger when you spend 8 hours in the direct sunlight, painting buildings and picking up the slack of less productive members of the workforce. Brad probably would have been just fine without Brian’s old Pontiac Grand Am (“the KD”) around.
