Maid of Honor

Try not to do a double-take here! Jenn is Jacqui's sister, and first-ever friend! So, of course she is the maid of honor! Just under three years apart, Jenn and Jacqui, fortunately, were very close growing up. Naturally, there were plenty of typical squabbles, and steals from each other's closet (usually Jacqui out of Jenn's) but were always resolved within all of 15 minutes, and right back to their normal selves. It is no secret that Jenn was going to be by Jacqui's side for this big day!

Patrick Kessenich

Best Man

Patrick has been Brad's best friend since high school, and some might mistake them for brothers. It's been no secret that Pat was going to be Brad's Best Man, and it appears that Pat will be able to get the last laugh after Brad gave his best man speech at Patrick's wedding last year. These two have spent enough years living together that they could have filed for a domestic partnership, and Brad is excited to have Patrick as his Best Man.

Morgan Berti

Bridesmaid

Morgan has been in Jacqui's life since day one, literally! She is Jacqui's older and closest cousin. They have always been there for each other growing up, sharing all the up and down experiences in life, so it only makes sense that they are together for this day too! Ironically enough, Jacqui went through the same college, and x-ray program, and worked in the same hospital as Morgan. Talk about a good role model! Jacqui has always looked up to and admired Morgan, and is so happy to have her next to her side on this big day too!

Cody Rudie

Groomsman

The man, the myth, the legend, Cody Rudie. Brad and Cody met in college track, and lived together for Brad's final 3 years of college. Cody also replaced Brad at his parent's house when he took over Brad's old internship, and helped to fill the empty nest when Brad moved to Appleton for his full time job. Cody also has a very storied path of standing up in weddings, basically living the movie of 27 dresses. So Brad knew he had the expertise to handle the big moments, and looked forward to his wisdom to guide the bridal party shenanigans.

Emily Byczynski

Bridesmaid

Emily and Jacqui met while working as waitresses at the same restaurant in high school. And even though they really only knew each other, at first, in black pants and navy polos, they inspired each other with fun lipsticks and cute hairstyles! Which makes sense, as Emily is one of the most talented and fabulous hair-stylists Jacqui has ever met! After high school, they kept in touch by frequently having girl's nights in downtown Milwaukee, and having very long hair appointments at the salon Emily worked at! Emily also got married this past summer, and Jacqui is so happy to reverse the roles and have Emily to stand next to her, just as she did a few months back!

Tim Laursen

Groomsman

Tim and Brad met during Brad's second year of track (Tim's first). They immediately had a rivalry after their first track meet and it made both of them better athletes, constantly pushing each other to work a little harder to not let the other one win. Their initial rivalry quickly developed into a friendship that has continued, especially since they ended up with full time jobs in Appleton. Brad looks forward to seeing Tim tear up the dance floor with his killer dad moves!

Sara Mertz

Bridesmaid

Jacqui met Sara, and her (now) husband, Andy, through Brad! Sara and Brad were friends from high school, Andy and Brad met through college track (see Andy's Bio), and then Jacqui came into the picture. Sara had always been so friendly and welcoming to Jacqui, so much so, that after 3 years of knowing each other, Sara and Andy became a power throuple, inviting Jacqui to live with them for over a year in their apartment. Throughout that year, Jacqui and Sara grew so close, mostly over their love of wine, Harry Potter, Disney, and musicals (especially while cleaning!)

Andy Mertz

Groomsman

Andy and Brad met in college during their Freshmen track season at UW-Platteville. After the school year ended Brad had Andy join him and some friends on a trip to Six Flags where Andy and Sara ended up hitting it off and are now happily married (totally because of Brad). Brad and Andy continued to hang out for most of the summer, basically living with Brad at his parents house. Andy has been a great friend of both Brad and Jacqui throughout the years.

Bridget Slater

Bridget is Jacqui's best friend from college at Concordia-University Wisconsin, and while she may live 12 hours away in Roseau, Minnesota, they have remained the absolute closest of friends! They lived in the same dorm hall their freshmen year, and within an hour of moving in, they realized they were not only friends, but soulmates! With millions of laughs, adventures, scary movies, and late night girl talks (always equipped with snacks, SNL, and Orange is the New Black), their companionship is one for the books!

Mike Drasch

Mike and Brad met in high school and grew close during their first year in college when they decided to share a dorm room. As roommates they spent countless hours hanging out, watching movies, playing video games, making questionable choices and sometimes doing homework together. They both can still find childish joy in some of the little things, and look forward to spreading laughter with their dance moves on the Big Day!

Jenny Reicher

Jacqui met Jenny in college, at Concordia-University Wisconsin their freshmen year. They also lived in the same dorm-hall, and have remained close ever since! Even though distance has plagued them, they have always made a special girl's night for each other - usually over fancy drinks and sushi dates! Jenny has been living in Arizona since last year, which has always been her dream. Sounds like a great place for a girl's trip! But, of course she'll be back in Wisconsin for this big day!

John Mika

Groomsman

Brad and Mika met during Jr. Popes football in 8th grade, ended up in the same TAC (homeroom) during at Pius XI high school, and then proceeded to go to the same college (UW-Platteville). Mika is one of Brad's longest standing friends, and he's been there through a lot. From where their relationship started back in 8th grade, to the adults they are today discussing career aspirations, Brad is honored to have Mika as a groomsman. (although Jacqui wishes they would take pictures together)
