We would like to welcome everyone to join us for a relaxed day of lawn games, drinks, snacks and catching up the Friday before the Saturday wedding. There will be some friendly competition (and more competitive competition from Nick & Steph) for those that want that as well! Feel free to arrive anytime after 1 PM. We will have cornhole, ladder ball, horseshoes, Molkky, pickleball, and more, as well as snacks and beverages for everyone. *Please note that we will not be serving lunch but will have snacks and will be doing a barbecue later that evening.

We are planning a BBQ on Friday night! We are excited to have so many important people in our lives in the same place and for you all to connect and become friends! This is also a great time to spend time with the bride & groom who will be tearing up the dance floor Saturday night. We will have standard barbecue fare (hot dogs, hamburgers, salad, etc.) -- let us know if you have dietary restrictions that we should plan for. We might even make S'Mores by the fire later in the night!

Wedding Ceremony

We will be starting the wedding ceremony at 4:30 PM ET (Wilhelm, Kenny and other notoriously late friends, the ceremony is at 3 PM ET). Please arrive at Dexter's by 4:00 pm to snag a seat.
Cocktail Hour
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

We will have hors d'oeuvres and drinks on the patio at Dexter’s Inn directly following the ceremony. Phelps and Yosef, we may even have a pickleback for you! This is another great time to get face time with the bride & groom if you haven’t already.
Reception & Dance Party!

We will have a buffet style dinner under the tent at Dexter’s Inn catered by Rolf! But that’s just the start... We are excited to have Groovin’ You lead us in a dance party that will get everyone burning (Burnsing) up the dance floor! Be on the lookout for the killer moves by the father of the bride and Coach Schruender.
After Party

FOREVER!(?)

We will be officially indoctrinated into married life! What will that future hold? We shall see. Did we make the right decision? Will Emily ever hike a 4,000 footer? Will Chris ever consistently put away the dishes? Will Terraforming Mars ever get old as a game? Will our kids take after Emily or Chris? Will the Burns family tire of Chris’s sarcasm? Will Chris ever be as funny as Emily? All these questions and more will be answered as we continue our journey together. We can't wait!
