Dromoland Castle Hotel

Dromoland Castle is where we'll host our wedding ceremony and reception! We do suggest planning an additional day (or two, or three) at the castle to enjoy the amenities, explore the grounds, and try the activities they have to offer. We recommend reserving your room for all anticipated nights as soon as possible - most reservation types allow free cancellations so best to make sure your choice is held early! Reservations are already held for all guests for the night of the wedding and will be attached to your reservation at a negotiated lower rate of €515 per room. Once you've determined the other days you intend to stay please contact their reservation team via email and phone to coordinate with the existing booking. If you prefer to upgrade your room type they can assist as well. There are several room options: Queen Anne, Queen Anne Court, Deluxe, Viscount Deluxe, Stateroom, Viscount Stateroom, Suite, and the Brian Boru Suite. All room types are subject to availability and range in price from €560 to €3,300 per night - please review the website for booking and details. Please be aware, all room types have a maximum occupancy of (2) adults and (2) children under twelve, so if you are traveling in a group in excess of this additional rooms will be required. If you want to experience Dromoland but prefer alternate accommodation, the Inn at Dromoland is adjacent to the castle property and can access most of the same activities (including falconry and sport shooting). There are also hotels in the town of Ennis for a different experience (no access to castle activities)! Reach out to Petra for more information!

Flight

Airport Options

Shannon Airport (SNN) is the closest airport to Dromoland Castle as well as Dingle. It's a tiny airport and quick to travel through, and has all the amenities (car rental, customs, etc) of larger airports. Dublin Airport (DUB) has the most options for international flights from the US, UK, and EU. It's about 2.5 hours from Dromoland Castle and 4 hours from Dingle by car. While Dublin is often the most flexible and cost effective for flights, it can be hectic so best to carry your most important belongings on board with you in the event luggage is delayed. Cork Airport (ORK) is another convenient airport option, with a few more daily options than Shannon though a bit further away. It's about 2 hours from both Dingle and Dromoland by car.

Rental Car

Rental Car Warning!

Please be aware that most rental cars will be MANUAL operation! If you prefer an automatic car please double check when reserving to make sure there's no error. It's also worth noting that you drive on the LEFT in Ireland! If you are not comfortable driving yourself during your visit, or would just rather share the load, we are happy to coordinate carpools. Dingle Accommodations

Dingle has an ample supply of boutique hotels, bed and breakfasts, and house rentals all within easy walking distance of the town shops, restaurants, and most importantly pubs. If you're looking for a nice hotel stay, check out Pax Guest House, the Dingle Skellig Hotel, or Dingle Benners Hotel (though there are lots more!). For B&B options try Heaton's, Milltown House, or Coastline House (though just like hotels there are dozens of other great options!). Expect to spend about €‎150-275/night, though lower cost options are available a bit further from downtown.
