Train

MBTA- "The T"

Public Transportation (C&C®) Boston is a very walkable city and we get by perfectly fine without a car, we recommend you do the same! The green line is an old above ground trolley can be fun for those that don't need to commute on it every day. Both Fenway and Lamplighter are located right off the Green Line, at Kenmore Station and Lechmere Station, respectively. Leaving the airport to get downtown: Follow overhead signs to 'Ground Transportation/Baggage Claim', go down the escalator and exit the airport. If leaving from Terminal C/E, you can take bus #33, #55, or #66. If leaving from Terminal A or B, you can take bus #22, #55, or #66. Get off the bus at the second stop, “MBTA Blue Line Airport Station." If you are staying in Boston proper or Cambridge, take the escalator up and over the tracks to board the inbound train towards Bowdoin Station. If you are staying in East Boston, board the outbound train towards Wonderland Station. Utilize station maps or your phone to figure out any transfers, if you need to transfer to the Green Line, you can do so at Government Center Station. Leaving downtown to get to the airport: Take the T to Airport Station. For Terminal C board bus #33, #55 or #88 For Terminal A/B board bus #22, #55 or #88 Time: 25-40 minutes (based off daily Terminal C/Bowdoin commute) Cost: $2.40 Blue line free all summer long!

Rental Car

Rental Car Center

15 Transportation Way, East Boston, MA 02128

Airport Buses #22, #33 and #55 drop off at the Rental Car Center. According to SpotAngels, "street parking in Boston is free on Sundays. That means even where the meters list a two-hour time limit, you’re able to park free for as long as you want." Additionally, "meters are only enforced between the hours of 8 AM – 8 PM. That means at most metered spaces you’re able to park overnight for free! Take advance of the free time, but make sure you double check when exactly the metered hours for your particular parking spot are." Street parking is extremely limited at Lamplighter Brewing Co CX, though they offer $10 validated parking at the 222 Jacobs Street Garage on weekends, for up to 4 hours. We have found that the Boston Common Garage, located on Charles Street, has the most reasonable rates for leaving a car overnight in the city.

Hotel

Hampton Inn Boston/Cambridge

191 Monsignor O'Brien Highway, Cambridge, MA 02141
 617-494-5300

Highly recommend this hotel, for those who seek convenience. We personally walked around the area to get the lay of the land. It is literally steps away from the T. It is a 3 minute walk to Lamplighter Brewery. There is a shopping center just down the road- 2 minutes by car, 7 by foot. There is a full sized grocery store, a massive Marshall's, McDonalds, Dunkin, Dollar Tree, gas station, liquor store and more! The hotel offers free parking and there is ample parking in the shopping center. The area in general is a much more "suburban" vibe and a lot less chaotic and busy than staying in Boston proper. The walk from Beacon Hill to the Hotel takes 30 minutes. Although the address is a "highway" it is just a normal 4 lane street. TL;DR- Stay here if you are a Hilton Honors member and/or want to be as close as possible (3 min walk) to the reception venue!
