At this time, we are planning on moving forward with our wedding celebration on September 25th. Please know that the health and safety of everyone is top of mind and extremely important to us and we will adjust plans if or when we need to. We will be following all state guidelines and restrictions that might exist at the time. We are asking all guests to please get COVID tested before attending the wedding for your own safety and the safety of all our loved ones in attendance. We encourage all our guests to make the best choices for their families and their health during this unprecedented time in our lives. Mike and I strongly encourage all guests to get vaccinated, but understand not all may choose to do so. We also completely understand if you do not feel comfortable attending our wedding celebration or if you feel the need to change your RSVP closer to the date. Please know that you will be missed and hope you will celebrate with us from afar!
Of course! Please let Kat know if you have any dietary restrictions or concerns that should be brought to the attention of Rock Island's kitchen staff.
We politely ask that you leave your little ones with a trusted family member, friend, or babysitter at home for the evening! We love the idea of being able to gift you an excuse for a Mom & Dad's night out!
Yup! There will be transportation provided from the Hilton Garden Inn / TownePlaces Suites by Marriott in Rockaway to Rock Island Lake Club in Sparta. A one-way trip is about ~20 minutes. We anticipate Ubers being difficult to get around Rock Island Lake Club, so please plan your travel accordingly. There is also a parking lot at Rock Island with a valet if you will be driving yourself.
Yes there is! Mike & I have booked a private room at the Hilton Garden Inn (our main hotel block) for our after party. The hotel bar in the lobby is still closed and we think that our guests might feel more comfortable in a private room. Please note that we will have a bartender available but it will be a cash bar, so please plan accordingly!
