Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than September 14th.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 4:15 pm for check-in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings while getting ready to join us for the exciting event! The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by our venue host and checked-in.

Question

Where is the ceremony? And will it be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors. The venue is an expansive flower farm with lots of outdoor and indoor space to accommodate needs for distancing. Please refer to the Schedule page for further details.

Question

Where is the reception? And will it be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Upon conclusion of cocktail hour, and immediately following the ceremony, guests will be directed to the Vintage Barn for the reception. Plans will continue to be tweaked for optimal use of indoor and outdoor space right up to the Big Day. Please refer to the Schedule page for further details.

Question

Will there be a check-in process for guests and are you checking temperatures upon arrival?

Answer

We have planned a brief check-in process. Upon arrival, guests will be shown to a lovely area hosted by our venue staff. Here, guests will be accounted for, temperatures will be checked, personalized goodies (including masks) will be handed out, and questions answered. All guests must check-in. Please take this into consideration when planning your trip and your arrival time.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Cocktail Attire. For those of us who love details and guidelines, we share Google's definition: "Cocktail attire is a balance between formal and casual and elegant and comfortable. Cocktail attire is meant to bridge the gap between day and night....."

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love children, unfortunately, with the exception of the bridal party participants, we cannot accommodate children under the age of 12 at the ceremony or the reception. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

Question

Can I bring a "plus one"?

Answer

While we had originally planned to allow "plus one's", COVID precautionary measures forced us to do the unthinkable. Heartbreakingly, we uninvited some of our dear family and friends prior to sending invitations. Please follow your specific invitation for who may attend. Thank you for understanding and we will not be able to accommodate "plus one's".

Question

Will everyone be wearing masks or be expected to wear masks?

Answer

While we understand and respect everyone's personal views on the subject, after careful consideration, we are asking everyone to please adhere to our wedding guidelines for wearing masks. We will be providing comfortable, filtered masks for all of our vendors and guests. We ask that everyone wear masks at these times: 1) during the ceremony, 2) indoors in all areas where social distancing cannot be maintained, 3) while on the dance floor. Finally, we ask everyone to please be considerate of others during this time. We hope and pray everyone will enjoy and celebrate our marriage while being healthy and safe!

Question

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

We will all turn into pumpkins promptly at 11:00 pm.

Question

Is there parking available near the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking for everyone. We are offering a shuttle service to those staying in one of the two hotels of which we have reserved room blocks. We highly recommend taking advantage of the shuttle service, especially if you plan on partaking in an alcoholic beverage or two. Your safety comes first!

Question

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Of course! Please be advised, no photos or videos will be allowed during the ceremony. We have hired a photographer and videographer to capture the entire event. Media will be posted and available in the future for everyone's enjoyment.

Question

What COVID precautions are you taking?

Answer

We are doing our very best to take every possible precaution. That said, we can not guarantee everyone's health and safety. We ask each of you, please make an honest and personal decision based on your own comfort level for attending or not attending. Should you attend, decide your comfort level of participation, and please follow it. We cannot be held responsible for any health outcomes as a result of your attendance. Some of the precautionary measures being taken: Temperature checks upon arrival. Personal hand sanitizers and masks for all guests to use and take home. Social distancing. Optimized seating arrangements: taking advantage of increased spacing and grouping guests based upon households and/or social circles. Hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue. Significant layout changes taking advantage of the venue's cavernous indoor and outdoor space. We will continue to monitor the COVID situation and make further adjustments as needed to keep our guests as safe as possible.

Question

What if COVID becomes worse or the state of Georgia bans gatherings over a certain number between now and the wedding?

Answer

We hope and pray only for signs of improvement, but also remain prepared to make changes based on current events as they evolve. The COVID situation is beyond all our control but, we are optimistic and will keep everyone updated accordingly.

Question

I don't want to be around anyone that might have COVID. Are you taking any precautionary measures for this?

Answer

We are fortunate to have a loving and supportive bridal party that has agreed to get tested with us a week before the wedding and then limit their activities. In the spirit of looking out for each other's health and safety, we hope everyone will also consider taking this very important step as a symbol of your love for us and your love for each other. We could not ask for more and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Question

What should I do if I can no longer attend due to illness or a COVID exposure concern if I've already responded attending?

Answer

While a concern, we certainly understand and also appreciate guests declining should they become ill or have exposure to COVID and be unable to secure positive test results prior to the wedding. Please let us know ASAP. Call or text Megan at (770)-906-8223 or Randi (MOB) at (404)-409-8125.
